Facebook allows you to delete your account within thirty days, but it&#8217;s important to note that this won&#8217;t remove all information. Fortunately, there are several ways to save information. One way is to download all of your account information and move it to another service. Rather than deleting everything, you can move it to a different site, such as Google Photos, Google Docs, Dropbox, Koofr, or another online storage service. The last option, however, will make your account inaccessible to others who may still be using the service.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to delete your account permanently, you can request to suspend it. This will stop your account from showing up in search results for 30 days, but after that, it will be gone for good. In addition to this, you can revoke any permissions your account has granted apps to access your information. Once the deletion process is complete, you will have at least 90 days to cancel your request and retrieve your data. But be aware that once your account is deleted, it will no longer be accessible to other Facebook users.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Deactivate_a_Facebook_account\"><\/span>Deactivate a Facebook account<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you have been using Facebook for a while and would like to remove yourself from the public eye, you can deactivate your account. This will make your account invisible to people, and it will not show up in search results or in images. Although your profile and other data are gone, you can still use Facebook Messenger and other features. However, deactivating your account will not remove your posts, messages, or comments from friends lists.<\/p>\n<p>If you have deleted your Facebook account, it will remain inaccessible to search engines, but you can reactivate it manually by logging into your account. You can also use the account to sign into your email and mobile number and chat with your friends on Messenger. However, you will have to wait up to seven days before your account reactivates. Facebook will notify you via e-mail if your page has been deleted.<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, you can click on the settings tab, where you can find a section to delete a page. Click on &#8220;Pages&#8221; on the left-hand side. Once there, click on &#8220;Delete your page.&#8221; You will be prompted to confirm your deletion. Facebook will offer you 14 days to reverse the deletion. But, before you delete your page, you should read the following guidelines carefully. When deleting a page, make sure you don&#8217;t have any recent posts or updates.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Turn_off_Facebook_Messenger\"><\/span>Turn off Facebook Messenger<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>When you want to delete the Messenger app, you can do it through the website or through your browser. Depending on which version you have, you may need to tap on the &#8220;Active Status&#8221; to remove yourself from notifications. After deactivating Messenger, you&#8217;ll no longer appear in your friends&#8217; &#8220;Active Status&#8221; list, but you&#8217;ll still be able to send and receive messages from your contacts. However, some people find this annoying, and would rather just turn off the Messenger app.<\/p>\n<p>First, you need to decide whether you want to deactivate Facebook Messenger or delete it completely. Neither option will permanently remove your account, so you should first deactivate your Facebook account before deleting Messenger. If you&#8217;re unsure whether or not you want to delete your account, you can always download the messages you&#8217;ve sent and received from Messenger. Facebook automatically sets the default settings to &#8216;Friends&#8217; on your account. By changing this setting, you can control who sees certain photos, videos, and posts. This way, you can be sure that no strangers are able to see sensitive information about you. This way, you can keep your data safe while still enjoying the services of Facebook.
