Whether you&#8217;d like to quit Facebook completely, or are just fed up with the way it&#8217;s operating, there are ways to come off Facebook with ease.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Delete_your_Facebook_account\"><\/span>Delete your Facebook account<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you no longer want to use Facebook, you can deactivate your account. Deactivation does not delete your Facebook account completely; however, it does remove information that you have stored on the website. To reactivate your account, enter your email address and password. Facebook will remove all information from your account. Once deleted, your information will no longer be available to other Facebook users. Therefore, deactivation is the preferred option.<\/p>\n<p>Before deleting your Facebook account, you should back up all your data. While the website will keep a copy of deleted data for 90 days in their backup storage, you shouldn&#8217;t expect to find any of it. To prevent this, back up your data as frequently as possible. First, log into your Facebook main page. Then, find the settings for any app that has been linked to your Facebook account. Then, select the option to &#8220;disconnect&#8221; from the apps. If you&#8217;ve linked multiple accounts, you&#8217;ll need to link them again. This can be done by logging into your Facebook main page or by logging into the account where you&#8217;d like to unlink it.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve done this, visit the official Instagram page and log in. From the main page, choose the display picture, then tap &#8220;Settings&#8221; and &#8220;Accounts Center.&#8221; You&#8217;ll see a list of accounts that are linked to Facebook. Click &#8220;Unlink Account&#8221; and confirm the action. Facebook will remove the posts from your other accounts once you unlink them from the service.
