Once you&#8217;re there, you can open your inbox and read your messages.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Message_Requests\"><\/span>Message Requests<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Facebook message request folder shows unread messages and information about the sender. By default, messages are removed from the main inbox after a user clicks them. The message&#8217;s sender is not notified when the recipient has read the message. The algorithm tries to find a connection between the sender and the recipient. Once you receive a message, follow the directions to see it. Then, you can delete, archive, or muted it. If you don&#8217;t want to read a message, you can simply close the conversation session.<\/p>\n<p>The Facebook messenger inbox is one of the hardest places to find, as it contains messages from people you don&#8217;t know. These messages are logged as &#8220;message requests,&#8221; and you may not know that they&#8217;re there. Facebook does not notify you that message requests have arrived, so it is important to know how to find the message request folder. First, open your Messenger app and tap on &#8220;people&#8221; at the bottom of the screen.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hidden_inbox\"><\/span>Hidden inbox<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to block unsolicited messages from people on Facebook, you can learn how to hide inbox on Facebook. Facebook has a secret inbox that filters messages from people you don&#8217;t know, like spammers. You won&#8217;t know that a message has arrived until you get a Message Request from that person. You can then accept or reject it. This feature also helps you organize messages and avoid receiving unwanted ones.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Automated_responses\"><\/span>Automated responses<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Have you ever wondered how to add personalized messages to your Facebook inbox? Using an automated response allows you to respond to your customers in a more timely manner, and it can help you improve your credibility on the platform. Facebook shows your response time in your about section, and many people look at it to determine how responsive you are. You can now set up automated responses for your Facebook inbox, and this is something that you will surely appreciate.<\/p>\n<p>To use Facebook business manager, you must have page admin, editor, or moderator access. Log in to your Facebook page and choose from a menu of sample messages. You&#8217;ll need to select the questions you want to be answered and choose the ones that have the highest volume of responses. Each message will contain 280 characters. If you want to send a personalized message, you can also set links at the bottom of the message or attach files to the response.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Message_tags\"><\/span>Message tags<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Message tags work on Facebook for two main uses: standard messaging, or 24+1, and chatbot responses. If you want to send promotional messages to your audience, you should use the Sponsored Messages feature instead. The two most common message tags are: Promotional and Notification\/Update. In order to send a promotional message to your customers, you must make sure to follow Facebook&#8217;s guidelines for a non-promotional message.<\/p>\n<p>In the Facebook inbox, you can see the name of the person who sent the message, and scroll through all the messages they&#8217;ve sent and received. If you haven&#8217;t written anything for that person, you can simply type a message and click the Send icon. You can also attach photos, videos, links, and other types of media. Message tags have some limitations, but they&#8217;re generally not as difficult to use as they seem.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Finding_friends_on_Facebook\"><\/span>Finding friends on Facebook<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you are not sure which friend to add to your &#8220;Friends&#8221; list, simply log into Facebook. Select &#8220;Friends&#8221; from the menu at the top of the screen, then tap the Add Friends button. You will then see a list of your current friends. If you see someone you know, click &#8220;Add&#8221; to add them as friends. If the person accepts the friend request, you can then write them a message or send them a private message.<\/p>\n<p>You can use your email program to scan your Facebook contacts. If you have a desktop or laptop, open your email program and export your list of contacts. After the email program has finished scanning the list, upload the file to Facebook. Click &#8220;Find Friends&#8221; to see who matches your email. If the recipient has opted out of receiving emails from you, click &#8220;Forget it&#8221; to remove them from your list.
