However, copy and pasted posts have a longer lifespan than a single post and are susceptible to scammers and fake news. In May 2017, Facebook started penalizing accounts for re-posting content from low-quality sources. You can also view which comments are popular by turning on notifications. Here are some tips to find your friend&#8217;s comments on Facebook:<\/p>\n<p>Firstly, remember to read the permissions on a post before commenting. You cannot comment on a non-friend&#8217;s content without being tagged, so keep that in mind. You can&#8217;t comment on posts about yourself unless you are tagged, but you can comment on posts by your friends. However, if you haven&#8217;t been tagged by a friend and don&#8217;t have their permission to post a comment on their page, you will need to ask them first.<\/p>\n<p>When commenting on a friend&#8217;s post, it&#8217;s important to know how much information you want to share. Remember that you have the right to limit who can see your comments, but it&#8217;s not always possible to change the settings of posts. Generally, if the post is publicly viewable, everyone can see it, but if you want to keep your posts private, it&#8217;s best to set the privacy setting to Private.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Using_the_News_Feed\"><\/span>Using the News Feed<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The news feed is the home page for Facebook. When you log in, Facebook takes you to the news feed instead of to your profile timeline. You can also add friends to your list, or archive old posts from your list.<\/p>\n<p>When sharing content on Facebook, keep in mind that you&#8217;ll want to ensure your content is relevant to your target audience. Facebook uses bounce data to determine if your article is relevant to the community. When your audience doesn&#8217;t engage with your content, it&#8217;s unlikely it will be featured in their news feed.
