Fortunately, the security flaw was discovered early, and Facebook has already notified affected users.<\/p>\n<p>The attack exploited bugs in Facebook&#8217;s &#8220;View As&#8221; feature. This feature allows people to see how others view their profile, which makes it easier for attackers to get full access to those accounts. In the hack, the attacker exploited this vulnerability to steal a person&#8217;s digital key, known as an access token. Once they possess this token, they can control an account.<\/p>\n<p>The breach has prompted a lot of scrutiny for Facebook.
