These options are available on any Facebook page, so if you don&#8217;t want to be bothered with all of them, read on.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Logging_out_of_Facebook\"><\/span>Logging out of Facebook<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve tried logging out of Facebook several times and haven&#8217;t been able to resolve the problem, you may be suffering from a third-party extension. While third-party extensions are not as tightly integrated as the native extensions, they can interfere with the functioning of certain websites. To fix this, disable the extensions one by one. If you&#8217;re unable to fix the problem, wait until Facebook fixes the problem.<\/p>\n<p>To log out of Facebook, you first need to know how to do this on your mobile device. First, you need to locate the menu button. This menu button will be in the bottom-right corner of your iPhone or iPad. For Android devices, look in the top-right corner of the screen. Click the menu tab that says &#8220;Log Out.&#8221; The app will ask you for confirmation before logging you out. Simply click on the &#8220;Confirm&#8221; button to complete the process.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Disabling_active_status_on_Facebook\"><\/span>Disabling active status on Facebook<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve got a cluttered news feed, you may want to disable your Active Status on Facebook. There are a few different ways to do so. You can access the settings page from your computer by clicking on the profile picture in the top left of the screen. Select the setting called &#8220;Show when you&#8217;re active&#8221; and toggle it off. This will permanently turn off your active status for everyone on your profile.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to disable your status for some contacts, you can click the three dots on the message box to hide it. If you want to show it to a select group of contacts, you can enter their names in the appropriate fields. You can also turn off your status for everyone. If you don&#8217;t want to hide your status from everyone, turn off the option for your entire contact list and choose specific contacts to display the active status for.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Blocking_messages\"><\/span>Blocking messages<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>While it&#8217;s not possible to permanently disable the active status on Facebook, you can use the same method to turn off the status of some friends. Another way to hide messages from others on Facebook is to block people from sending you them. To block someone, go to your profile and tap on the people tab. Tap on your friend&#8217;s name and then tap &#8220;Block this person from receiving messages.&#8221; You&#8217;ll no longer receive any messages from them.<\/p>\n<p>The second way is to block an account. While this is the most direct way to stop someone from seeing your online status, it&#8217;s not foolproof. The person can still see your activity if they&#8217;ve shared games, apps, and groups with you. Also, if you&#8217;re not friends with this person, you can still see their online status if you&#8217;re friends with them. However, you should be careful when you block someone, as they can still view your activity if they&#8217;re a mutual friend of yours.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hide_your_last_seen_status\"><\/span>Hide your last seen status<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Previously, Facebook didn&#8217;t have time stamps for last seen status updates. However, you can now hide your status from people on Facebook. This will prevent your friends and family from seeing when you were last active on the social media site. To make this possible, you must install an application called Unseen onto your mobile device. To use the app, you will have to allow it access to your settings. After installation, you will see the option to hide your last seen status.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve installed this extension, go to Settings &gt; Privacy. You&#8217;ll see a box that says &#8220;Hide my last seen status.&#8221; Then, click on the link below to turn it off. This will hide your last seen status from people who send you messages. Alternatively, you can go to the settings of your profile and disable this feature entirely.
