You can search the person&#8217;s name and choose &#8216;contacts&#8217; to see all the messages he or she has ever written. Another way is to go into the settings of your Facebook account and select &#8216;Settings&#8217;, and then &#8216;Your Facebook Information&#8217;. Once there, you can download the data from your account. You can then view the messages on your computer.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Unarchiving_a_conversation\"><\/span>Unarchiving a conversation<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you have deleted a conversation on Facebook, you may wish to retrieve it later. To unarchive a conversation, you need to access it by tapping the person&#8217;s profile picture in the upper-left corner of your screen. Once you&#8217;ve unarchived the conversation, it will disappear from your main chat list for 24 hours. To restore it, you can simply send another message to the person. Alternatively, you can also search the person&#8217;s name in the search box.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve accidentally archived a conversation on Facebook, you can easily restore it by following these steps. First, log into your Facebook account and select the conversation you wish to recover. Click on the three-dot icon next to the conversation. It will then appear in your main inbox. Alternatively, you can also unarchive a conversation in the Messenger app. This will restore all the conversations you&#8217;ve previously archived, preserving their content and allowing you to access them later.<\/p>\n<p>Unarchiving a conversation on Facebook is also possible via Facebook Messenger. To do this, log in to your Facebook account and tap the profile picture of the person you want to unarchive. Then, tap on the conversation to see if you can unarchive all the messages from that person or just one thread. If you&#8217;ve archived a conversation on Facebook Messenger, the same process applies to your Facebook account.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Viewing_an_archived_conversation\"><\/span>Viewing an archived conversation<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to view an archived conversation on Facebook, you have two options. You can either delete it, or you can unarchive it. Once you&#8217;ve archived a conversation, any new messages will show up in the list. If you want to view an archived conversation, you can follow the steps below. The next time you want to see a conversation, you have to archive it first. You can always re-archive it later, though.<\/p>\n<p>To delete an archived conversation, log in to your Facebook account and click the three-dot icon next to the conversation. It won&#8217;t show up in your inbox, but you can open it again by clicking the archived conversation button. You can also delete archived conversations from the Messenger app. If you delete a conversation, the person won&#8217;t be able to see it again. If you want to keep the conversation, you can also click the three-dot icon next to it.<\/p>\n<p>To view an archived conversation on Facebook, you have to be a member of Messenger. You can tap on the &#8216;Gear Icon&#8217; to open a drop-down menu. Next, type the name of the person you want to view the conversation with. Once you&#8217;ve done this, tap on the folder and find the conversation. Alternatively, you can restore messages from a deleted account by searching for it with a name.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Restoring_deleted_messages_from_Facebook_Messenger\"><\/span>Restoring deleted messages from Facebook Messenger<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve accidentally deleted messages from your Facebook Messenger account, there are a few ways to recover them. First, you can check your old email notifications for deleted messages. Another option is to look at your messenger app&#8217;s cache. If you&#8217;re having trouble recovering deleted Facebook messages, contact the Messenger Help Center for more information. After confirming the deletion, you should be able to view the deleted message. However, you should be aware that the chances of recovery are extremely slim after 90 days.<\/p>\n<p>If you have an Android device and Facebook Messenger installed on it, you can recover the deleted messages from the app&#8217;s cache. You can also use a file manager to see what was recently sent and received. While iOS users can&#8217;t recover deleted Facebook messages through this method, they can use a recovery program to do so. Regardless of your device, make sure you take backups of your messages so you can recover them later.<\/p>\n<p>If you can&#8217;t find your deleted messages, you can try archiving your chat history. Facebook keeps a copy of the history of every message you&#8217;ve sent or received. You can click the chatter&#8217;s name to view it. If you&#8217;re unable to find the deleted message, you can try archiving it and then finding it again later.
