Once you&#8217;ve downloaded the software, run it on your router and install the DD-WRT software. This software works with most routers in the world and installation is easy. DNS-Over-TL is a good option if you want to block the TikTok application in your router, because it blocks DNS name resolution on your device.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve installed the software, you can start blocking TikTok on your router. OpenDNS users can add multiple domains to block, but they&#8217;ll need to choose &#8220;Always block&#8221; in order to block TikTok. You can bookmark the list and visit it often for further information. The same network settings page contains an option to record logs and stats. This will allow you to limit access to the website while preventing users from using it for entertainment. You should note that blocking Tik Tok in a router will slow down the speed of data exchange. The former requires a dedicated IP address for the app, which may be difficult to setup with a router.
