Some even went so far as to post a caption stating that the app would not exist without Black creators. As a result, TikTok introduced a tab for &#8220;Crediting Creators&#8221; on the creator portal. Now, creators can use this to trace their trends back to the original.<\/p>\n<p>One of the most popular TikTok videos was a dance. It was created by an anonymous Black teenager. Jalaiah Harmon didn&#8217;t receive credit for her work, and the video&#8217;s creator was never given proper credit.
