To answer this question, we will briefly discuss the character, her popularity, and the patterns that people use to engage their audiences on TikTok.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Brandy_Norwood\"><\/span>Brandy Norwood<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Cinderella challenge on TikTok is a fun mashup of Disney classics. The challenge started in the 1950s, when the fairy godmother sang the song Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo, which describes the transformation of Cinderella&#8217;s old clothes into a beautiful ball gown. Brandy started the video with no makeup and casual clothing. Then, she waved her makeup brush to transform herself into Cinderella. She put on her Cinderella gown and tiara and applied blue eyeshadow. As she wowed the audience, the Disney song Where Did I Put That Thing? played in the background.<\/p>\n<p>In this modernized version of the classic fairytale, the story is retold as a feminist message. Women are encouraged to pursue careers outside the home and to be the rulers of their country. In addition to Brandy Norwood, the film featured Whoopi Goldberg and Walt Disney Television star Brandy Norwood. At about half-way through the video, Brandy reaches for a makeup brush.<\/p>\n<p>The Cinderella challenge has over 85 million views, and its origins can be traced to the 1950 Disney film. In this story, a young woman named Cinderella lives in misery with her stepmother and two sisters. The story revolves around her encounter with a prince via magical glass slippers, and eventually, she finds love with the handsome Prince. The 1950 Disney film adaptation is probably the best-known version.<\/p>\n<p>The new version of Cinderella features a cast that includes Black actors. Among the cast, Pat Carroll, who voiced Ursula in Disney&#8217;s 1989 classic The Little Mermaid, appears in the clip. In addition to Carroll, Barbara Ruick, who starred as Esmerelda in Rodgers &amp; Hammerstein&#8217;s Carousel, is featured in the clip as Prunella. The video also features some of the film&#8217;s infamous step-sisters.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo\"><\/span>Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In the Disney+ premiere of their new show, Brandy reprised her role as Cinderella and was caught in a viral video demonstrating her Bibbidi-Bobbida-Boo makeover.
