Since this algorithm runs on a rolling basis, the value of a post diminishes with time. While unfriending someone on Facebook removes your connection with them, unfollowing a friend on Facebook will hide their posts in the News Feed. To unfollow a friend on Facebook, simply click on the three horizontal dots ( ) next to their name, then click on the &#8220;Unfollow&#8221; link.<\/p>\n<p>To unfollow people, Pages, and groups on Facebook, click on the &#8220;Unfollow&#8221; button in the right corner. You can then choose which ones you want to see, as well as how much you want to see from them. Unlike other social media platforms, you won&#8217;t be notified of the unfollowing process, so it&#8217;s best to follow people who share the same interests as yours.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Using_chronological_feature\"><\/span>Using chronological feature<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to read more of Facebook&#8217;s posts, you can use the chronological feature to make the feed more relevant. Currently, Facebook displays recent posts at the top of your feed. However, you can use the feeds tab to sort your posts by chronological order. This feature will also make it easier for you to curate a subsection of your feed. Unlike the Home tab, however, the Feeds tab excludes posts that have been suggested for you.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to change the order of posts in your News Feed, you can toggle the chronological feature. To reset Facebook to see more posts, click the Home icon at the top of your screen. Then, when you open Facebook again, you&#8217;ll be taken to the most popular posts first. It&#8217;s that simple! By setting up your News Feed the way you like it, you can have a much more relevant feed.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Using_snooze_section\"><\/span>Using snooze section<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There are a few different ways to use the Snooze section of Facebook. Using the Snooze feature means you won&#8217;t see a post for 30 days unless you click on it. Using the snooze button allows you to hide posts from certain profiles, groups, and people. To find this option, click on the three dots to the right of a post.<\/p>\n<p>The snooze button is built into Facebook, and it enables users to temporarily &#8220;mute&#8221; a friend&#8217;s posts for 30 days. This will prevent you from seeing their updates for 30 days, and the snooze button doesn&#8217;t alert your friend. It is available on Android and iPhone devices. You can also choose to unfollow a friend if you&#8217;re getting a ton of annoying posts from friends.<\/p>\n<p>Snooze settings enable you to prioritize the posts from your friends and pages. Once you&#8217;ve done that, you can go back and re-visit those friends and pages. The snooze section also allows you to snooze posts from groups and people that you follow.
