However, if you have a Huawei phone, you may have to force close the Facebook app manually.<\/p>\n<p>The first step to troubleshooting the Facebook notification problem is to disable the battery saver mode on your smartphone. Battery saver mode reduces the amount of battery power by limiting the amount of time a phone can be used. However, this can cause Facebook to go back to the home screen. In this case, you can disable the battery saver mode and fix your Facebook notifications. If this doesn&#8217;t work, you can perform a factory reset and reinstall Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>Next, you can turn off the Do Not Disturb setting in your phone. This can prevent notifications from appearing. Disabling Do Not Disturb is the simplest solution. For Android users, restarting the phone should fix most of the notification issues. It should work for everyone! And if that still doesn&#8217;t fix the problem, there are some other options. If you have a Xiaomi phone, you can use the security app that comes preloaded. This way, you don&#8217;t need to install any battery saver apps.<\/p>\n<p>The third option is to turn off Battery Saver manually. To do this, tap the icon located in the Quick Settings. After enabling the battery saver, make sure you have enabled it manually. When the battery saver screen appears, it will disable certain features, like Download Entire Message Content, Show Avatar, and Sync Contact Groups. Once you&#8217;ve done that, your Facebook notifications should return to normal.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Reinstall_Facebook_app_to_receive_notifications\"><\/span>Reinstall Facebook app to receive notifications<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you haven&#8217;t received any notifications on your Android phone lately, you may want to reinstall Facebook. If you&#8217;ve tried clearing cache data and reinstalling the app, and still don&#8217;t have any, you might be experiencing notifications blocking issues. This issue may be caused by a number of factors, including battery-saving modes and background data restrictions. Also, you may have installed 3rd party battery-saving apps, which cause Facebook notifications to stop working.<\/p>\n<p>First, your phone might be using a lot of battery. If you&#8217;re experiencing battery drain issues from your Facebook notifications, you should update your operating system. A recent update might have resolved this issue for you. In the meantime, you should try the steps above. Usually, it doesn&#8217;t take too long. Once the update is installed, sign in again and check your notifications. Hopefully, the problem will be resolved.<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, you can choose to disable notifications altogether. To do this, you should open the Settings app and select &#8220;Applications Manager.&#8221; Next, tap on Facebook and tap on the Force Stop button. This will force Facebook to stop running. If this method doesn&#8217;t work, you can also try holding down the Power button while tapping the Restart button. This will reboot your Android device. And if all else fails, try reinstalling the Facebook app.<\/p>\n<p>Another option is to disable Facebook&#8217;s notifications altogether. This option is not available on all devices. If you&#8217;ve enabled this option, you&#8217;ll only receive notifications when you&#8217;re signed in to Facebook. Once you&#8217;ve done this, Facebook will let you select the range of emails you want to receive notifications from. You can then select the emails you&#8217;d like to receive notifications from and unsubscribe from later. It&#8217;s as easy as that.<\/p>\n<p>When you reinstall Facebook, it&#8217;ll ask you to enable notifications again. This option is based on the settings menu on the app. After installing the app, you can enable notifications on your Android device. You can enable notifications for comments, friends requests, tags, and likes by setting up different channels in your notification settings. If you&#8217;ve enabled notifications, the Facebook app will send you notifications from various sources.
