This article will explore the options you have to manage your search history and how to delete old tweets or untag yourself from old conversations. If you’ve accidentally saved a search, you can change its phrasing or delete it completely. However, you can’t delete the data that Twitter has collected on the backend. To delete it, you must swipe left to remove it.

Twitter saves your search history

If you’re trying to clean up your phone’s storage, you’ve probably wondered how Twitter saves your search history. Luckily, you can delete it one at a time, or even your entire search history altogether. To delete your search history, just swipe left on the page you’re viewing. You can then clear all the search history data and restore the app to its previous state. To do this, open the Twitter app and swipe left to clear the history.

While it’s convenient to be able to see the searches you’ve made on the site, there are a few issues with this feature. For one, it can be unsettling when a loaner or relative uses your phone, and anyone with access to your Twitter account can see your search history. While you can remove individual search history entries, you may not want to give out your search history to strangers. So deleting your search history regularly is the best way to maintain your privacy.

You can change the phrasing of a saved search

If you frequently type a certain search term on Twitter, you may want to change it. The saved search feature lets you easily access that query, from a menu next to the search box, without having to type it in every time. You can only save 25 searches at a time, so you may want to delete some of them to make room for new ones. Changing the phrasing is easy, but you need to make sure you don’t confuse the Search box with the “Submit a Tweet” button.

The default distance for a saved search on Twitter is 15 miles. However, you can change the limit by adding additional miles. For example, if you’re searching for a pizza in Boston, you can change the limit to 10 miles, and then type that new distance. This will show you any nearby pizza joints in Boston. The same goes for the menu items. The default search distance is 15 miles, so you’ll need to add a few miles if you want to narrow it down to a smaller area.

You can delete old tweets

If you’re looking for a quick way to delete old tweets from your Twitter search history, you’ve come to the right place. While you can’t delete the tweets themselves, you can at least delete those that you’ve sent more than three years ago. Twitter’s search history is extensive, so deleting tweets from your history is a quick and easy way to make sure they don’t end up in someone’s search history. Here’s how.

There’s a way to delete tweets in bulk, too. All you have to do is send a request to Twitter, and it will eventually email you a list of your tweets. Another way to find older tweets is to search for specific words. Twitter allows you to select keywords, and you can then delete tweets using those keywords. This is very convenient for when you need to remove a lot of tweets at once.

You can untag yourself from past conversations

You can now “unmention” yourself in past Twitter conversations. This is an important new feature that was tested with a select group of users earlier this year and is now available to all. While the mention feature is useful for sharing information, it can also lead to unwanted notifications. Unmentioning yourself will allow you to remove yourself from conversations, thereby avoiding unwanted notifications. Here’s how. Follow these steps to untag yourself from past Twitter conversations.

Using the new feature to untag yourself from past Twitter conversations is simple. The first step is to click the three-dot menu next to the person’s tweet, then click “Leave this conversation.” This will untag you from the conversation, and your username will appear grayed out. Once you’ve been untagged, you won’t receive notifications for that tweet, and you can’t go back and join the conversation.

You can delete location information from past tweets

Whenever you update your status, Twitter introduces location information to your Tweets. While this information is interesting, you may not always want people to know where you are. If this is the case, you can delete location information from your past tweets. There are two ways to do so. One is to go to your profile and click on the gear icon. From there, you should uncheck the box that says ‘Add location to my tweets’.

If you do not want Twitter to track your location, you should go into your privacy settings and disable location permissions. This option is different on each operating system and phone manufacturer. It is usually found in the Settings or Privacy settings section. Once you find the permissions menu, you can disable location access for the Twitter app. This way, you will not have to worry about past tweets containing location information. You will be able to disable location tracking on Twitter for mobile as well as the browser version of the app.

Is Twitter Saving Your Search History?
