The old Discover tab provided prime advertising real estate, which brands could use to reach their audience. TikTok&#8217;s &#8220;For You&#8221; feed, for example, featured a link to learn more about trending content. This section had been the main place for users to discover new creators and keep up with their friends.<\/p>\n<p>While the Discover tab is gone, users can still discover videos from their friends. To do this, tap on the magnifying glass icon located at the top right of their main feed. This will show them videos in any category or genre. It will also show you new pages to follow. Although TikTok has taken the new approach, users will still experience a different experience than they would have with the Discover tab.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ad_restrictions\"><\/span>Ad restrictions<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Despite its popularity, TikTok has restrictions on the type of content you can upload to the site. For example, it is not permitted to post videos that contain illegal drugs, weapons, tobacco products, or electronic cigarettes. However, the site does allow videos with alcohol content and underage models, but strictly monitors these. Ads that violate copyright and exaggerate claims are also prohibited.
