For example, 45% of Gen Z users say they feel more connected to a brand if they provide information or entertainment to their users. They also want brands to provide useful information and education. These types of video content are more effective than traditional forms of marketing. These updates will also allow parents to monitor the content their child sees and shares.<\/p>\n<p>As for the European regulators, the Irish Data Protection Commission is the lead body overseeing the investigation into TikTok&#8217;s processing of children&#8217;s data. The Data Protection Commission is a hot topic among consumer protection authorities when it comes to cross-border GDPR enforcement, and they are looking into the company&#8217;s practices on this matter.
