Washington-based DJ Jeff Prior created the original track to accompany the challenge. While the lyrics and melody are original, TikTok users have adapted the song and created their own unique routines. Currently, more than 6.4 million users have posted videos incorporating the song.<\/p>\n<p>Another dance challenge involving a popular rapper is the &#8220;Yah!&#8221; song. Although it is set to a Soulja Boy beat, the &#8220;Attention&#8221; dance challenge is a riff on the Macarena. The dancers then add a drumming motion and a &#8220;woah&#8221; at the end of the song.<\/p>\n<p>After the &#8220;Attention&#8221; dance challenge took the social media platform by storm, the popularity of the dance has spread beyond the platform&#8217;s original creator. The original video received over six million likes and over three thousand comments, and almost 3 million users have recreated it. This challenge has spread to many other platforms, including YouTube and MySpace. Its popularity has also reached mainstream audiences and has led to the creation of several new dance videos.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Cookiee_Kawaiis_Moon\"><\/span>Cookiee Kawaii&#8217;s &#8220;Moon&#8221;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve been wondering what the big deal is about &#8220;Megan Thee Stallion and Cookiee Kawaii&#8217;s viral Moon Foot Dance,&#8221; you&#8217;re not alone. The dance has gone viral, spawning a new TikTok trend: writing a statement in black and white and turning off the lights. The song&#8217;s lyrics also inspired a trend of TikTok memes that began with the Bop by Agatha Harkness. This video prompted 3.8 million requests, and many users recreated the routine. The dance, which includes swaying feet to the song&#8217;s lyrics &#8220;aren&#8217;t you the guy\/trying to&#8221; was a viral hit, and it has already become a sensation, with multiple videos posted by popular TikTok stars<\/p>\n<p>Originally posted in February by Zoi Lerma, the song has been a popular dance on the app for over a year. The video has also received massive popularity on TikTok, with several Hype House members uploading their own versions. A fun twist to the original is the addition of a Hand Emoji challenge that has become increasingly popular among users.<\/p>\n<p>The song itself became a viral hit, with hundreds of thousands of people trying their hand at the moon foot dance. One TikTok video involving the moon foot dance, &#8220;The Box,&#8221; gained nearly 2 million likes.
