Once you do this, the hashtags that are trending worldwide will be listed in your Explore feed. Changing this setting can take a few minutes, but it&#8217;s worth it in the end.<\/p>\n<p>First, you have to log in to your account. Next, click the &#8220;more&#8221; option from the menu on the left side of the screen. From there, select the settings tab, then click the &#8220;privacy&#8221; option. Click the &#8220;back&#8221; arrow, then &#8220;accept&#8221; the privacy settings. Click &#8220;OK&#8221; to confirm the changes. Then, you can view the global trend. To change the location, go to the &#8220;location&#8221; setting icon on the top right-hand side of the screen.<\/p>\n<p>You can also change the location to view worldwide trends on Twitter. Many users use this feature as a way to stay informed about what&#8217;s hot and what&#8217;s not. It&#8217;s helpful to know what&#8217;s trending in different regions, but you may not want to see the same news that your friends are discussing. If this happens, it&#8217;s time to make some changes. By changing your location, you can restore the trend you were looking for.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Turn_off_location_switch\"><\/span>Turn off location switch<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to prevent Twitter from using your precise location, turn off the location switch in your Twitter account. Depending on your device, you may see location-based content and trends on your timeline, even if you&#8217;ve turned off this option. However, the switch won&#8217;t prevent Twitter from using your GPS. If you&#8217;d rather avoid this, you can spoof your location. To do this, log in to Twitter on your mobile device and select your profile icon. From there, you can change your country settings and trend location.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve done that, head to your Twitter settings page. Scroll down to Location, and tap &#8220;Edit Location Information.&#8221; You&#8217;ll see a list of apps on your screen. Scroll down to Twitter, and tap the setting. Tap Location. This will allow Twitter to share your location with other users, but it won&#8217;t share your location while you&#8217;re using the app. If you want to turn off location sharing on Twitter for good, you can follow these simple steps.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve turned off location sharing, you can still see what your friends and followers see when they visit your Twitter account. The good news is that location sharing is disabled by default. This means that Twitter won&#8217;t use your location in any tweets in the future, and the risk of snooping on your friends&#8217; locations is minimized. By turning off location sharing, you can keep your account private and safe.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Turn_on_location_switch\"><\/span>Turn on location switch<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve switched off your location switch on Twitter, the global trend view will no longer be shown. Instead, you&#8217;ll see only the local trends. The global trend view shows you the latest Tweets from your location, and you&#8217;ll find K-Pop hashtags and US sports dominate global trends. To fix this, turn on the location switch on Twitter. To do so, visit the Settings tab and click the location switch.<\/p>\n<p>After logging in to Twitter, go to Settings, then to Privacy and Content preferences. You can change your location by clicking on the location switch and enabling the &#8220;Show content in this location&#8221; option. You can also toggle this setting to see only the local content. To do so, go to the Settings tab and click on the location switch. Click on the toggle button to disable Show Content in this location.<\/p>\n<p>Then, you need to log in to see worldwide trends. On your profile page, click on more and select settings. Then, select privacy from the drop-down menu. Then, scroll down until you see content related to your location. You can also comment below to share what you&#8217;ve seen. The international trend view will show you posts from all over the world.
