We take a look at each one and how they differ from Snapchat&#8217;s Discover feature. Then, we talk about what&#8217;s next for each. What&#8217;s next for Twitter? Snapchat Moments are similar to Facebook&#8217;s Moments, but they&#8217;re not the same. But they&#8217;re different, but Facebook&#8217;s are more like a gallery of tweets.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Instagrams_Moments\"><\/span>Instagram&#8217;s Moments<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The launch of Instagram&#8217;s Moments feature has prompted many to share the best moment of their day. One of the most popular photos is an egg that broke the record for the most likes on the social media app. It surpassed the record set by Kylie Jenner&#8217;s daughter Stormi. The post is still the third-most-liked photo on Instagram. The photo is also part of a campaign by a beauty brand to raise awareness about mental health, which was revealed in a Super Bowl ad.<\/p>\n<p>Since Instagram is an application that operates under the Meta domain, there&#8217;s a good chance that a new feature like this will come to your attention. Moments allows users to edit their clips and share them with their followers. However, there are some major flaws with the feature. Users should know that the share wizard does not currently include a button to upload to Instagram. Users need to share the clips via their own accounts to use the new feature.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Facebooks_Moments\"><\/span>Facebook&#8217;s Moments<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>What happened to Facebook&#8217;s Moments app? The company has decided to discontinue the app. It has had a small number of users, and has not made a big splash. Its lack of popularity is a big part of the reason behind the shutdown, but Facebook is giving users a chance to download and save their photos and videos. Users can still export them to their devices until May 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The app itself was a hit for Facebook, with nearly 10 million monthly active users. Moments was an instant synchronization service that was a Facebook app that organized photos by time, place, and people. It also allowed users to share them with other people. However, Facebook decided to cut back on the service, saying that it would prefer collecting user data rather than creating a new app. Moments was never pushed by Facebook to get more people to use it.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Twitters_Moments\"><\/span>Twitter&#8217;s Moments<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Moments was created in order to provide users with breaking news and other interesting content, but there are a few problems with the feature. First off, the blue notification dot keeps coming back on after you think it&#8217;s gone. Then, it&#8217;s not very useful &#8211; tweets about Hillary Clinton&#8217;s 68th birthday, processed meats being carcinogens, and Getty Images sports pictures of the week are among the few things that people will find interesting.<\/p>\n<p>Curators of Moments have a hard time finding worthy Moments, because they have to separate their own content from that of other publishers. The ideal Moment video is 30 to 60 seconds long and contains original source footage. Those videos can be viewed without audio, if necessary. However, it has not been confirmed whether Twitter pays publishers to feature Moments. In the meantime, users can find other ways to highlight Moments. For example, they can use hashtags to tag the relevant people.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Snapchats_Discover_feature\"><\/span>Snapchat&#8217;s Discover feature<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>While the &#8216;Discover&#8217; page is not a major change, it is a step in the right direction for Snapchat. This new feature allows the company to tailor the content for different types of users. It will also continue to run ads, like Promoted Stories. However, it is not clear what these ads will look like. The most likely scenario is that people will see a few of them. If you are interested in finding out, keep reading.<\/p>\n<p>While brands have been interested in tapping into the younger demographic of users, the fact is that most users are in the 18-34 age range. To make the platform more appealing to those under 30, Snapchat partnered with iHeartMedia. The new Discover feature allows users to discover stories and news from branded mobile channels.
