Users were greeted with a &#8220;Something went wrong&#8221; error message, and people using its app reported receiving an error message saying that their tweets were not loading at the moment. Downdetector, a website that tracks internet issues, reports that Twitter was down for many hours around the world. By 8:17 a.m. Eastern Time, Downdetector has collected nearly 30,000 reports of issues.
