A tweet that simply thanks another user for their reply will not benefit the trend. Neither will one that merely uses emojis or a blank reply. Instead, try to talk to the person directly. Follow the instructions below to make your tweets more interesting to other users. Listed below are a few helpful tips.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Number_of_tweets\"><\/span>Number of tweets<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Until now, few studies have attempted to explain the dynamics of the Twitter trend. One reference proposed using Sequential Summarization, which generates sub-summaries chronologically related to a common theme. Others have tried to combine several explanations into a single long summary, but this process obliterates most useful information. For example, a television show that had only 263,000 tweets on the first rank would not have a top spot on the list.<\/p>\n<p>However, we can at least look at a few factors that could influence the trend. Obviously, volume is the biggest factor, but so are other factors. For example, some topics trend within 500 tweets while others require hundreds or thousands. In the latter case, the volume of tweets is controlled by people, not by algorithms. After all, the point of a hashtag is to be mentioned as many times as possible, to aggregate posts relating to a single topic.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Number_of_hashtags\"><\/span>Number of hashtags<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Me Too movement started in 2006 and has been the subject of numerous tweets since. The hashtag has been trending on Twitter for over 58 days and set the record for the longest trend in 2020. While there is no concrete number, the average trending hashtag needs approximately 112,000 tweets to reach the top ten and the first row. During the peak hours of 9am to 3pm, the most tweets are posted.<\/p>\n<p>The hashtag became popular after Minneapolis police shot and killed a 21-year-old black man. That day, the hashtag was included in 218,000 tweets. The next day, the first bystander video was posted and the protests spread across the nation. On May 27, the daily use of the hashtag reached one million. The popularity of #BlackLivesMatter has only grown since then. The first method is called the Time to Reach (TTR). TTR calculates the minutes you need to reach the top positions of the trend list. It can be used to analyze the re-occurrence of a topic. For example, hashtags related to TV shows may become trending weekly.
