If you have a Facebook page, you can no longer use Facebook Login to connect them. You can still connect your Twitter profile, but you may need to copy and paste the Twitter URL to post to Facebook. You can also unlink the two accounts at any time. The only downside to unlinking them is that Twitter will no longer cross-post images or videos from your page to your Facebook profile.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Facebook_Login_no_longer_connects_Twitter_to_Facebook\"><\/span>Facebook Login no longer connects Twitter to Facebook<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;re frustrated that your Facebook Login no longer connects Twitter, you&#8217;re not alone. Facebook&#8217;s API changes have caused many applications to stop re-sharing information and are preventing you from connecting the two accounts. However, your tweets may still appear on your Facebook page if you&#8217;re connected. To connect Facebook and Twitter, follow these steps. They&#8217;ll help you get started.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have your username and password, log into your account on the Twitter website and go to your settings page. Scroll down until you find the &#8220;Edit page information&#8221; section. On the next page, select &#8220;Twitter&#8221;. In the resulting window, type in your Twitter username. Click Save Changes and your connection should be made. You&#8217;ll then be redirected to your Facebook page. This step will take just a few seconds, and your tweets will be posted immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, there are several ways to reconnect your two accounts. First, sign in to Twitter with your Facebook credentials. Choose the privacy settings and choose whether to post all or select just your friends. Once you&#8217;ve selected your privacy settings, your tweets and Retweets will automatically be posted to your Facebook profile. Your username will also appear on your Facebook wall. This will allow you to share the latest news and information with your followers.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Users_must_copy_tweets_URL_to_post_to_Facebook\"><\/span>Users must copy tweet&#8217;s URL to post to Facebook<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Until now, it was possible to share a tweet on Facebook directly from Twitter. But this feature is no longer available. Facebook users must approve cross-posting before they can post their tweets to the social network. Instead, they must copy the tweet&#8217;s URL and paste it into the Facebook post. Here&#8217;s how to do it:<\/p>\n<p>First, you must sign in to Facebook using your credentials. Signing in will display your name and profile picture. Next, select the options you want to share. This will include a public profile and friend list. If you don&#8217;t want anyone else to see your profile, you can choose to set the privacy setting. This way, your friends can see your tweets without visiting Facebook. Alternatively, you can post a link to a specific page or group on Facebook from your Twitter account.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Users_can_unlink_their_Twitter_and_Facebook_accounts_at_any_time\"><\/span>Users can unlink their Twitter and Facebook accounts at any time<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Users can unlink their Instagram and Facebook accounts at any time. They can do so by going to the app and clicking &#8220;Share Your Story.&#8221; Instagram will then display the information you&#8217;ve shared with your Facebook account. Just select the account you want to unlink from the list, and then confirm. You can also select which Facebook pages you want to unlink from. In the end, this decision is completely up to you.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve linked your accounts to increase the amount of exposure you receive from your followers, you can unlink your Twitter account from Facebook. If you&#8217;re concerned about flooding your Facebook friends&#8217; newsfeeds, unlinking your accounts is the best way to go. If you liveblog or tweet about events frequently, unlinking your accounts is a good idea. Moreover, you&#8217;ll save time by not having to constantly check the timelines of two accounts.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Twitter_will_not_cross-post_images_or_videos\"><\/span>Twitter will not cross-post images or videos<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can choose whether or not to cross-post images or videos from Twitter to your Facebook profile. Cross-posting will automatically begin as soon as you save the changes. Then, every post you make will appear on both Facebook and Twitter. When you post a picture or video to Facebook, the image or video will be copied to Twitter and linked to the original post. In addition, all hashtags you&#8217;ve used on Facebook will be copied to Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to cross-post to Facebook, you must enable the app platform in your Facebook account. To enable it, go to Account Settings and choose General Account Settings. From there, navigate to the Apps section and click the Platform option. You will need to confirm your privacy settings for your posts. Switch the privacy settings to &#8220;Public.&#8221; You can also manually change the settings.
