This is not a good sign for buyers or sellers. A buyer moving off Facebook means there will be less accountability for them. Sellers should question this move. It may be a red flag that their transaction was fraudulent. Here are some reasons why. Listed below are some of the reasons why the Marketplace is bad. But it&#8217;s not the only reason.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"This_feature\"><\/span>This feature<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>This feature of Facebook Marketplace is so bad! Unlike eBay and Amazon, where you can add a condition to your listing, Facebook allows you to post a human-readable product description. eBay requires you to include a title and condition as well, while Facebook will allow you to post a more detailed description. However, most people will not see that information and will only click &#8220;More&#8221; when they are ready to make a purchase.<\/p>\n<p>While Craigslist and eBay both involve shipping, Facebook Marketplace&#8217;s feature allows you to see the Facebook profile of both the seller and buyer. In the process of making a purchase, Facebook uses your Facebook data to customize the feed for your needs. This feature is more depressing than anything you could experience on eBay or Craigslist. While Facebook does have an obscene amount of users, this feature isn&#8217;t nearly as thorough or whimsical.<\/p>\n<p>One major flaw in Facebook&#8217;s Marketplace is its built-in messaging system. This feature forces buyers and sellers to negotiate, which can be frustrating for both parties. Marketplace isn&#8217;t as popular as Craigslist, so many sellers complain about the inability to see a seller&#8217;s information or even their location. Buying on Facebook can be a great option for people with no money to spare or the desire to sell something.<\/p>\n<p>Another issue that may affect the Facebook Marketplace is browser compatibility. This occurs when a certain browser isn&#8217;t compatible with certain features. Try using a different web browser. If the problem persists, try logging out and relogging in. This should fix the issue. The issue may be related to a plugin. You can then try using another browser and try again. If the issue persists, you can still try using an alternate browser.<\/p>\n<p>It is important to note that Facebook has a strict policy on minors using Marketplace. Underage users are likely to be scammed, as this feature revolves around financial transactions. Even minors may get scammed and have their accounts closed. To avoid this problem, Facebook has barred underage users from using Marketplace. In addition, if you&#8217;re using a slow internet connection, you&#8217;ll have trouble uploading your listing to Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>Another issue with Facebook Marketplace is its bugs. It&#8217;s hard to imagine how many people use it without a bug. Despite Facebook&#8217;s promise to improve the Marketplace, there are still several bugs that hamper the business flow. But, don&#8217;t worry, Facebook will continue to improve the experience on the platform! This feature of Facebook Marketplace is so bad that it&#8217;s a waste of time.
