The class action settlement administrators have mailed out checks of $200 to $400 to more than 1.4 million class members. But you must be a Class Member to qualify for the payment. This means that you lived in Illinois for at least 183 days after June 11, 2011 to qualify. And you must file a claim for compensation within 30 days of receiving your notice of payment.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Class_Members_must_have_lived_in_Illinois_for_at_least_183_days_or_six_months_after_June_11_2011\"><\/span>Class Members must have lived in Illinois for at least 183 days (or six months) after June 11, 2011<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To qualify for the program, Class Members must have lived in Illinois for at minimum 183 days (or six months) after the date of filing for the GI Bill. Currently, the requirements for this program vary depending on the individual&#8217;s job duties and location. Some of the requirements are listed below. For example, Class Members must have worked as a dental or medical officer in the military.<\/p>\n<p>The requirements for eligibility are set forth in Part III. They include a schedule and notice for the program, as well as enforcement provisions. The Class must have lived in Illinois for at least 183 days (or six months) after June 11, 2011.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Class_Members_must_claim_damages_for_work_they_performed_for_Facebook\"><\/span>Class Members must claim damages for work they performed for Facebook<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>This lawsuit seeks to halt Facebook&#8217;s abuse of class-action status, requiring the company to pay class members back for the services they provided. Plaintiffs argue that the class&#8217;s interests are similar because all Class Members received the same injuries from Facebook&#8217;s actions. For example, the plaintiffs allege that, as of end-March 2011, Facebook reported that it had more than 100,000 advertisers. In that case, the class members would not have been entitled to any refunds if they had not paid Facebook for their advertising.<\/p>\n<p>In the class-wide UCL action, plaintiffs argue that Facebook failed to properly filter out invalid clicks. The plaintiffs claim that Facebook prioritized its advertising revenue over the integrity of its pay-per-click program. However, this case fails to address whether Facebook violated the UCL&#8217;s anti-defamation requirements. Moreover, plaintiffs&#8217; methodology requires highly customized analysis of each advertiser. Thus, the plaintiffs&#8217; methodology lacks a simple mechanism for distinguishing between legitimate and invalid clicks.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Claims_must_be_submitted_within_30_days_of_receiving_a_notice_of_payment\"><\/span>Claims must be submitted within 30 days of receiving a notice of payment<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The process for submitting your Facebook settlement check is simple, but you must submit it promptly. If you want to receive your payment, you must submit it within 30 days of receiving the notice of payment. The first step is to contact the defendant. You will need his or her address for service of process, further notices, and to send your payment request.
