To change the privacy settings, simply click &#8220;Edit&#8221; in the top-right corner of the page. If you have an old post you want to make private, click the &#8220;Edit&#8221; button and change the privacy setting to &#8220;Friends.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>If you want to limit how much information is visible to other users, select the option for &#8220;Friends.&#8221; This setting only applies to public posts. If you want to limit who can see your highlights, you can set this setting to &#8220;Friends&#8221; and &#8220;Friends of Friends.&#8221; The public setting allows anyone to view your posts and is usually used for generating interest in a business or service. Remember that people who are tagged in your posts will still be able to see your posts, even if you set them to &#8220;Friends.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>To make it easier for you to understand your privacy settings, go to the top-right corner of your profile page and click on the Privacy settings icon. There are three types of privacy settings: public, private, and coming soon. Public sites are available to anyone, while private sites are only viewable by approved visitors. The most common setting is &#8220;public,&#8221; which allows everyone to see your content and be included in content and search engine results. This setting is recommended for most sites, though.
