In most cases, you will need to create a password to access the archive. Once you have created a password, you can proceed to download your Facebook backup. Afterwards, Facebook will send you an email letting you know when the archive is ready. If you want to access specific data, you can also choose a date range to narrow down your search.<\/p>\n<p>To download your Facebook data, simply open your account and tap on the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines). Click on Settings. Scroll down to &#8220;Download Your Information.&#8221; On the next page, select Photos &amp; Videos. If you have an iPhone, you can choose to download this file to your iPhone, or iCloud Drive if you have an Android device. If you&#8217;d prefer to keep the data on your computer, you can export it to a CSV file.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_log_in_to_Facebook\"><\/span>How to log in to Facebook<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you use a mobile device to access Facebook, you can log out easily. If you are logged in on another device, you will see a screen that displays the devices you&#8217;re signed in on. Click the three vertical dots in the bottom right corner of your screen and select &#8220;Log Out.&#8221; To secure your account, you can also click &#8220;Not You.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re unable to log in with your mobile device, visit the Facebook website and click on the profile picture. From here, you will see a pop-up that asks for your e-mail address and password. You can choose not to enter this information if you are using an Android device. Alternatively, you can go to Facebook&#8217;s website, enter your e-mail address or phone number, and tap the &#8220;Sign in&#8221; button.<\/p>\n<p>To sign in on your mobile device, open the Facebook mobile site in your browser or use its desktop equivalent. You can also switch the screen to landscape mode, which gives a better view of the desktop version of the social network. If you&#8217;re using an iPhone, you can also fix this problem by switching to landscape mode on your phone. You can then go to desktop version by typing the URL and then click &#8220;Log in.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_restore_an_app_that_disappeared_from_your_phone\"><\/span>How to restore an app that disappeared from your phone<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If an app has mysteriously vanished from your phone, it is possible to get it back! First, you must sign into Google Play. If you have deleted the app, it is probably stored in Google Play&#8217;s library. If you have deleted the app through a third-party app store, you can still get it back by side loading the data into your device. If you have an Android phone, you can use the Google account you used to download it to reinstall it.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve accidentally deleted the app, the easiest way to restore it is to use the App Store. You can restore built-in apps through the App Store, but you&#8217;ll have to make sure you know what you&#8217;re looking for. After searching the store, find and choose your app. You&#8217;ll then be able to see it on your device&#8217;s Home screen and Apple Watch. This step is necessary because restoring the app will delete the old version of the app, but it&#8217;s worth it to get the app back.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_restore_Facebooks_dark_mode\"><\/span>How to restore Facebook&#8217;s dark mode<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;re a Facebook user and want to restore its dark mode, you can force quit the app, reinstall it from the App Store, or force quit the website. To force quit the Facebook app, open all of your apps, swipe up, and force quit. Once this is done, you should be able to see dark mode again. But first, you&#8217;ll have to reinstall Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>The problem is that Facebook no longer respects the system-wide dark mode preferences, and there&#8217;s no way to enable it manually in the app. While this isn&#8217;t a big problem, it can cause visual inconsistency. So how do you fix this? Follow the steps below. Once you&#8217;ve completed those steps, you can try again.
