Well, one reason is to preserve battery life. Changing to dark mode on your device will reduce the amount of energy your phone uses, thereby making it run longer. Another reason is that it emits less blue light, which is known to disrupt sleep. This is one of the reasons why many people are turning to dark mode on their Facebook accounts.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike the other major social networks, Facebook is yet to implement this new feature on its mobile app or Messenger. This is more appealing than the white background that Facebook has always used. You can also toggle it on or off on Messenger. If you&#8217;re using a browser to access Facebook Messenger, you can also follow these steps.
