In the meantime, here are a few tips to get the most out of the feature:<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Auto-translation_feature\"><\/span>Auto-translation feature<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>With the release of its new M Suggestions feature, Facebook is rolling out an auto-translation feature for Messenger. While it&#8217;s currently limited to English and Spanish, the feature is being rolled out to all users in the U.S. Facebook plans to expand its Messenger auto-translation capabilities to additional languages and countries. To use this new feature, users should opt in. It is not clear when this feature will be available to everyone.<\/p>\n<p>Despite its potential to increase a user&#8217;s efficiency, the auto-translation feature is still a bit unreliable. Translations may not always be as accurate as the original language. You can toggle the feature on or off in the Settings menu in Messenger. The feature is only available in the US and Mexico for now, but it will be available in other countries soon. However, the auto-translation feature is a great addition for those who are fluent in either English or Spanish.<\/p>\n<p>The auto-translation feature will soon roll out to Facebook Messenger, starting with Spanish and English users. Facebook is planning to expand its language support in the future. In the meantime, the feature will work for comments and posts made in English or Spanish, and will eventually be expanded to other languages. If you don&#8217;t speak either of these languages, you can opt out of the auto-translation feature by clicking on your profile picture at the top of the app.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Turning_off_auto-translation_feature\"><\/span>Turning off auto-translation feature<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;re tired of the automatic translation feature in Facebook Messenger, you can turn it off. The translation feature is available to all Messenger users, so if you&#8217;d like to turn it off, you can do so in your profile settings. You can also turn the feature off per conversation, but this will affect only conversations you have with people from other countries. After all, Messenger&#8217;s mission is to help people connect.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re not familiar with Facebook&#8217;s default language, you can turn off the automatic translation by adding more languages to your profile. Then, click on the down arrow next to the language you&#8217;d like to translate. If you don&#8217;t use Facebook in that language, you can still use the See Translation option to get the translation. It&#8217;s worth noting that Facebook&#8217;s translation isn&#8217;t perfect.<\/p>\n<p>Facebook Messenger offers different languages for different languages. The feature can also translate posts, polls, and conversation starters. However, it&#8217;s important to note that the translations work only for one conversation. If you&#8217;d like to turn it off for all conversations, make sure that you choose a language before you start typing. Turning off the feature will prevent Facebook Messenger from translating your conversations.
