Facebook&#8217;s algorithms automatically show the posts of pages and people you interact with. To remove those posts, you can either unfollow them or add them to your Favorites list. Your Favorites list will appear higher in the news feed. This is the easiest way to stop receiving annoying posts from people and pages.<\/p>\n<p>To unfollow people, Pages, and groups from your Facebook news feed, visit the profile of the person or page in question. Click the three dots (&#8230;) option next to their name. Choose &#8216;Friends&#8217; or &#8216;Unfollow&#8217;. Alternatively, click &#8216;Joined&#8217; or &#8216;Unfollow Groups&#8217;. When you&#8217;ve chosen an option, scroll down until you reach the unfollowing page or group. Click Update to complete the process.<\/p>\n<p>The news feed is a list of stories that continuously updates on the home page. It includes status updates, photos, videos, links, and app activity. Facebook uses algorithms to determine which posts are most likely to attract your attention. Your connections and recent activity on Facebook determine the posts that show up first. Posts that you like, and those you might be interested in, will likely appear on your news feed.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Customize_your_Facebook_news_feed\"><\/span>Customize your Facebook news feed<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can customize your Facebook news feed to see the posts you want to see first. You can prioritize your friends by choosing their posts to appear at the top of the news feed. This allows important updates to cut through the clutter. If you prefer seeing your friends&#8217; posts first, you can click the star icon on each post. You can also customize your news feed by setting your notifications to show new posts first. Those are just a few of the ways to customize your Facebook news feed.<\/p>\n<p>The first step in customizing your Facebook news feed is to make sure you&#8217;re on a PC. If you don&#8217;t have a PC, get one. Then, go to the News Feed Preferences tab on your PC. Whatever you change on your PC, you&#8217;ll automatically be applied to your mobile devices. Once done, you can customize your news feed to include only the posts you&#8217;re interested in.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve finished choosing your posts, you can choose the order in which they appear in your news feed. The Most Recent option only displays posts from your friends when you&#8217;re logged in, while the Manage Favorites tab prioritizes pages and friends. This allows you to filter out posts from people you don&#8217;t want to see in your news feed, without having to scroll through every single post. You can also select your friends and pages, based on different criteria.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Set_the_time_and_date_on_Facebook\"><\/span>Set the time and date on Facebook<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve ever come across a Facebook post that is time sensitive, you know how annoying it can be. Fortunately, Facebook has heard your complaints and is finally giving users more control over their news feeds. Now, you can easily set the time and date for every post, so you can ensure that your friends will never miss an important event again. Just make sure to restart your device after you make the change so that it takes effect.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;d prefer your news feed to show posts chronologically, you can set it to do so on your desktop. To do this, simply open Facebook on your desktop and click on the &#8220;Home&#8221; icon at the top. Facebook will return to the most popular posts when you next open it. Then, you can set your news feed to display your posts chronologically or by popularity.
