In this way, the private sector can help protect human rights by following these standards. The private sector should feed AI development efforts with the UN guiding principles for business and human rights. Transparency is necessary to understand the algorithms used by AI and ensure accountability. This transparency will allow for effective challenge.<\/p>\n<p>AI-driven technologies that use data from social networks and police reports pose a particular threat to human rights. While AI systems are already a major advancement, their reliance on large datasets may create unreliable results and faulty decisions. The long-term storage of the data is also a major concern.
