These changes include bigger thumbnails and higher-quality video previews. You will also be able to see the video title for each video, which will now run longer and be less likely to be cut off by the browser. YouTube will also remove the &#8220;content shelves&#8221; from the homepage in favor of a new design that has more room for channel icons.<\/p>\n<p>The new YouTube homepage design will feature larger thumbnails and a &#8220;Add to Queue&#8221; button. YouTube will also add an &#8220;Add to Queue&#8221; button for users to add videos to their queue. YouTube is planning to release more tools to customize the homepage, and this new version of its website is one of those changes. The new YouTube Android app has already been testing the new homepage design. The company is also rolling out basic analytics for the mobile app. If you&#8217;re a creator and want to know how your videos are performing, YouTube&#8217;s new analytics dashboard will be a great place to start.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to a new, updated dashboard, the analytics section will now show you the views that your videos are receiving. These views are very important for the YouTube algorithm, as it indicates whether an opportunity is likely to be picked up. The analytics dashboard will also show the average view time and engagement for individual videos. The more engagement a video has, the better. There are several ways to disable the new layout in Chrome. First, install the YouTube Classic extension from the Chrome web store. After you install the extension, you can choose to use the old or new layout. The Chrome web store also has a YouTube Classic extension that can be used to restore the old layout.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;d rather not use the new layout, you can also change your browser settings to the old one. To do this, visit the settings page of your browser and go to the &#8220;preferences&#8221; tab. Here, you can change the language preferences and change the layout language. When you&#8217;ve done that, reload the page and you&#8217;ll see the old YouTube layout. This process may take a few minutes, but it&#8217;s worth a try.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to changing the settings on your browser, you can also choose to use Dark Mode. Dark Mode makes YouTube easier on the eyes, and it makes video thumbnails stand out. The new YouTube layout features more videos, but you won&#8217;t be able to see them all without scrolling through the site.
