The agreement between the company and Disney was signed last December, but the channels have disappeared from the service. YouTube TV and Disney have been negotiating a new deal for some time, but have so far not reached an equitable agreement. Customers of YouTube TV will be able to view the Disney channels once again, but for now, they can only watch the cartoons and other Disney programs that are available on the service.<\/p>\n<p>The dispute between YouTube and Disney has led to several controversies over carriage fees. Disney and YouTube TV were in disagreement over whether to charge more for the channels. However, after reaching an agreement in October of this year, the two companies have agreed to keep fourteen of its NBC-owned channels available on YouTube TV. In the beginning, the two companies did not know each other&#8217;s plight and the deals would be reached in the final hours of the year. Thankfully, though, consumers have grown more aware of these disputes and that the two sides are trying to settle them through collective outrage.<\/p>\n<p>The service has been around for about two years and has dropped its prices. The basic plan, which costs $65 per month, is now only $50. However, Disney&#8217;s subscription service, Disney+, is already home to more than four million subscribers, and YouTube TV&#8217;s Disney-owned channels are not available on Hulu Plus Live TV.
