For sports fans, it&#8217;s a huge disappointment that the NBC Sports Network and ESPN are missing. You can add these channels by following a few simple steps. First, you need to enable custom sorting. Once you&#8217;ve enabled custom sorting, the channels will appear in a list.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"CNBC_World\"><\/span>CNBC World<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>YouTube TV is dropping a few popular networks from its channel lineup, including CNBC World, NECN, and 3 Stadium College Sports channels. NBCUniversal, the company that owns both YouTube and NBC, is closing the NBC Sports Network, which was a subject of a carriage dispute with YouTube last year. In response, NBCUniversal has decided to fold its sports programming into Peacock and USA Network.<\/p>\n<p>The reason YouTube TV is cutting NBC is because it pays carriage fees to media companies for each subscription. Many media companies require distributors to bundle lesser-known networks with their popular ones, or pay a rights fee for each subchannel they add. YouTube is losing money on every subscriber, and is not likely to pay such high rates for NBC. For that reason, Google&#8217;s plan would be beneficial to NBC, CNBC, and NBCUniversal.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"NBC_Sports_Network\"><\/span>NBC Sports Network<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You might be wondering why the NBC Sports Network is missing from YouTube TV. The streaming service is in the middle of a carriage dispute with NBCUniversal. YouTube said that if the carriage dispute isn&#8217;t resolved by Thursday, it might drop all NBC channels. The announcement was made just hours before Sunday Night Football kicked off. NBCU and YouTube TV had previously agreed to a $10 monthly deal that would be renewable if both sides agreed to settle the dispute.<\/p>\n<p>The cancellation of NBC Sports Network is especially unfortunate if you live in New England. NBC owns the U.S. rights to the English Premier League, and if YouTube TV users miss out on this, they&#8217;ll miss out on the marquee matchup of the season. If this continues, you may miss out on hundreds of Premier League games through 2021. Thankfully, some channels have remained on YouTube TV, including Peacock, a sports network.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"USA_Network\"><\/span>USA Network<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>For viewers in New England, the most significant loss is the demise of the local cable news channel, USA Network. This network is part of the Sports Plus bundle and will no longer be available on YouTube TV. Furthermore, the stadium college sports channels are leaving the service by December 31, 2021. Consequently, you will no longer be able to watch live television or recorded shows on these channels. NBC Sports Network is also closing down its operations for all distributors but will eventually transfer its programming to USA Network. YouTube TV will be the only way to watch live TV or recorded sports programming.<\/p>\n<p>Despite this new development, YouTube TV is still missing over a dozen channels from its lineup. This move puts the streaming service far behind other internet cable services, such as Hulu with Live TV or Fubo TV. Besides missing USA Network, it is also lacking major networks such as CNBC World. NBCUniversal is a giant in the entertainment industry, and its channels include the popular Sunday Night Football, college football, the NHL, and regional sports channels. YouTube TV subscribers will have to make do without these networks for a while.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ESPN\"><\/span>ESPN<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>It seems as though many of the high-profile channels have been removed from YouTube TV.
