Be aware that TikTok will likely not change your age, especially after it was caught in the Children&#8217;s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) scandal. You will need a parent or guardian to help you change your age.<\/p>\n<p>To change your age on TikTok, you&#8217;ll need to attach a government-issued ID. To do this, log into your TikTok account and click on the &#8216;Settings&#8217; tab. Afterwards, you&#8217;ll need to click on &#8216;Your Age&#8217; and select &#8216;Remove restrictions&#8217; from the drop-down menu.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve made the mistake of entering an incorrect date of birth when you registered on the platform, contact TikTok customer support. They will email you within a few business days. If you don&#8217;t get a response from them, you&#8217;ll need to create a new account and change your DOB. You&#8217;ll also need to update your account details so that your parent is aware that you&#8217;ve created a new account.
