Although you can use a Chrome extension to turn off the lights, it doesn&#8217;t work for Android users yet. In the future, however, TikTok may release a dark mode for Android users. In the meantime, you can use an extension called &#8220;Turn Off the Lights&#8221; to customize the interface when night mode is on.<\/p>\n<p>To enable dark mode on TikTok, you need to make sure that your device supports it. The first step is to ensure that your TikTok app is up to date. You can find this in the Settings of your device. Then, you&#8217;ll have to update the software of your device. To do so, go to your iOS device&#8217;s Settings &gt; General &gt;&gt; About This iPhone<\/p>\n<p>Once you have installed the app, you can turn on the dark mode in your device&#8217;s settings. To do this, open the app&#8217;s settings menu. From there, you can choose whether to enable dark mode on iOS devices. If the feature is not available on iOS devices, go to the Settings menu of your TikTok app. In either case, you&#8217;ll see a dark mode option.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Custom_Schedule\"><\/span>Custom Schedule<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to use the dark mode on TikTok, you&#8217;ll want to make sure your device supports it. To do this, go to your phone&#8217;s Display &amp; Brightness settings and toggle between the light and dark modes. Then, select &#8220;Custom schedule&#8221; and select the days and times that you want TikTok to run in dark mode. After that, you&#8217;re all set to go.<\/p>\n<p>One way to set up a custom schedule for your phone&#8217;s light and dark modes is to use Sunset to Sunrise. This feature automatically changes between the two modes based on your current location and the time zone that applies to your location. It&#8217;s also possible to schedule specific times of day for your phone to go into dark mode and vice versa. Once you&#8217;ve set your custom schedule, simply use the Control Center to set the times when each mode should be active.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"TikToks_dark_mode\"><\/span>TikTok&#8217;s dark mode<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to switch to dark mode on TikTok, you can do so through the system settings. To access the dark mode, simply click on &#8220;Me.&#8221; Then, tap the three horizontal dots on the bottom of your screen. Once you&#8217;re in the Settings and privacy menu, tap on &#8220;Dark mode.&#8221; Under the title &#8220;Content &amp; activity,&#8221; find and select the dark option.<\/p>\n<p>If you have an iPhone, you can turn on Dark Mode by tapping on &#8220;Settings&#8221; at the bottom left corner of the page. You&#8217;ll notice a new Dark Mode option in the Control Center. While this setting won&#8217;t show up on your For You page, it will show up in your profile, settings, and Discover. Though TikTok hasn&#8217;t announced a specific release date, it&#8217;s likely coming soon.<\/p>\n<p>Dark mode is not available on desktops or Android devices, but it is available on iPhones. It gives your app a more stylish appearance. It will make darker colors and text appear white. Videos will still look the same as they do on the standard version. For best results, turn on Dark Mode in your device&#8217;s Settings menu.
