According to Sensor Tower, TikTok is the most downloaded app worldwide in Q1 2022. It has now surpassed Facebook&#8217;s Messenger and Instagram in terms of global downloads, and was also the only app not owned by Meta to hit this milestone.<\/p>\n<p>In Q1 2021, first-time users of TikTok grew 2 percent Q\/Q. And, in the second quarter, TikTok&#8217;s downloads soared 16 percent. In total, 315 million people downloaded TikTok in the first quarter of 2021, which is more than any other app in a quarter.
