However, you can still supervise your child&#8217;s experience using the app if you&#8217;re willing to create an account with a parent.<\/p>\n<p>First of all, you&#8217;ll need to provide your date of birth in the &#8216;Me&#8217; section of your account. The platform uses this information to make sure it&#8217;s safe to allow users over the age of 13 to create an account. Depending on the age of the user, it may not be possible to convert your age to the format TikTok accepts. To change your age on the site, you can also contact TikTok customer support. You can open the TikTok app on your phone and tap on &#8220;Me&#8221; on the main screen. Next, tap the three-dot icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. From there, tap &#8220;Report a problem&#8221; and then &#8220;Edit Profile.&#8221; If the account is deactivated, it will permanently be deleted.<\/p>\n<p>While changing your age on TikTok is not as easy as you may think, it is still possible. Fortunately, you can change your age without deleting your account.
