Public Wi-Fi networks can be found at places like Starbucks, Panera and libraries. If you can&#8217;t connect to one of these places, try turning off your router and contacting your Internet Service Provider. These steps may fix the problem, or at least give you a temporary solution.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Changing_your_password\"><\/span>Changing your password<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve ever had trouble logging in to Twitter, changing your password might be the answer. Twitter resets your account if it thinks it has been compromised. If this happens, you&#8217;ll be logged out of any browser or device. To get back in, follow the instructions in the email they sent you. To reset your password, you&#8217;ll have to use the link sent to your email address. To do so, go to Settings, then Privacy. From there, choose Your Account. Enter your current password and new one and tap Update. You should use a unique password for every account.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve changed your password but still cannot log in, the most simple fix is to change it again. After doing so, try to log in again to make sure that the hacker hasn&#8217;t already changed it. It&#8217;s likely that they&#8217;ve just changed their password before you did, and you&#8217;re left with a problem. Changing your password is the solution to your Twitter login problems.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Restarting_your_phone\"><\/span>Restarting your phone<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Restarting your phone can solve billions of software and hardware issues. It clears out all unnecessary data and keeps your phone&#8217;s system working properly. To restart your phone, press the power button and then choose &#8220;Restart phone.&#8221; Then, wait until the restart process completes. If Twitter is still not working, you should try the next method. If none of these fixes work, try a factory reset.<\/p>\n<p>This method will fix most issues with the Twitter app, including the &#8220;Twitter has stopped working.&#8221; Depending on your device, this can be caused by an app or a firmware issue. To reset your phone, hold the Power, Volume Up, and Bixby keys for about a minute. After that, release the power button. Afterward, restart your phone again and Twitter should work again. If the problem persists, update the app.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Resetting_your_browser\"><\/span>Resetting your browser<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Sometimes, a browser doesn&#8217;t support Twitter properly. A browser that doesn&#8217;t support Twitter could be outdated or lack the right settings. Regardless of the browser, resetting it should fix the problem. Try using another browser to access Twitter. Mozilla Firefox, Opera Browser, and Google Chrome are all recommended. If none of those work, try updating the browser. Sometimes, the browser might be at fault and needs to be reset.<\/p>\n<p>Chrome-related problems can also prevent you from accessing Twitter. You may have to wait for maintenance or the servers may be temporarily down. If you&#8217;ve tried resetting your browser multiple times, and still can&#8217;t log in to Twitter, try clearing your browsing data. You can do this by navigating to the &#8220;Clear browsing data&#8221; tab in your browser. Choose &#8220;Clear browsing data.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Resetting_your_phones_data_plan\"><\/span>Resetting your phone&#8217;s data plan<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve tried resetting your phone&#8217;s data plan and still can&#8217;t get Twitter to work, try hard-resetting your phone. This is similar to turning off your computer and pressing the power button until your device reboots. If that doesn&#8217;t work, you may need to uninstall and reinstall Twitter. Be sure to sign into your accounts before you try the reset method.<\/p>\n<p>If your Twitter service isn&#8217;t working, it could be a problem with your router or software. To test if the problem is in your phone, connect to a Wi-Fi network that isn&#8217;t your own, such as the ones offered by Panera or Starbucks. If this still doesn&#8217;t work, you may need to contact your Internet Service Provider or switch your device&#8217;s Wi-Fi to a different network.<\/p>\n<p>If your phone is already enrolled in an active internet plan, you can also try turning it off. To do this, go to Settings on your phone, then to Network &amp; Internet settings, then turn on roaming. If that doesn&#8217;t fix the problem, you can try disabling data savers on your device.
