Use hashtags that are eye-catching to catch the attention of your audience. Make sure to keep in mind the length of your tweet. You can also include it at the end of your tweet. Unlike a Tweet, a DM is limited to 280 characters and you can only send 250 of them a day. It is a great way to interact privately with friends, generate leads and drive traffic to your website. Using DMs is also a great way to avoid cluttering your Twitter feed with dozens of unread messages.<\/p>\n<p>To send a direct message, open up the Twitter app and click on &#8216;Direct Message History&#8217;. Next, tap the name of the person you want to send a message to. You can also attach a GIF or photo to your message. Choose a vibrant color that will catch the attention of other users. Light-colored backgrounds blend in well with most users, so a light-colored background is not advisable. Opt for a bright color to stand out from the crowd. You can also use a different background color for your avatar.
