Twitter has guidelines for identifying potentially sensitive content. What constitutes sensitive content? Twitter defines this as content that other users might not want to see. This could include violence or nudity. Twitter warns you when media you post contains such content. If you think that some content is sensitive, you can choose whether or not to share it.<\/p>\n<p>If you find content you&#8217;re uncomfortable with, you can disable it on Twitter. You can toggle this setting on and off. If you want, you can only view posts containing media you&#8217;ve designated as sensitive. This will prevent people from seeing this content in your feed. Otherwise, your feed will be populated with posts that might be offensive or sensitive. You can also choose to block certain media types, such as videos and images, from your feed.<\/p>\n<p>Sensitive accounts tend to focus on certain topics. Pornography, drugs, and mental health are common topics. Some even discuss marijuana. You can also spot accounts that support LGBT rights or female fitness. These can be categorized as &#8220;sensitive&#8221; on Twitter, so you can filter the content you want to see. Just remember to always check if there are any sensitivity warnings on your feed before posting. It&#8217;s worth your time to identify and avoid such content.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Turning_off_thesensitive_content_setting_on_your_own_tweets\"><\/span>Turning off the&#8217;sensitive content&#8217; setting on your own tweets<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>As a Twitter user, you might be curious to know how to turn off the&#8217;sensitive content&#8217; warning on your own tweets. The feature will mark certain types of content as&#8217;sensitive&#8217; and wrap them in a warning box. This is based on your legal status as an adult. If you&#8217;d rather not have your tweets flagged for this, you can turn off the sensitivity warning in the Tweet media settings.<\/p>\n<p>To turn off the&#8217;sensitive content&#8217; warning on your own tweets, simply sign into your Twitter account and visit the&#8217;safety and privacy&#8217; tab. The&#8217;sensitive content&#8217; warning is a way to block someone from reading the content you post, such as violent content. You can also disable the setting on your own tweets to view all content without a warning.<\/p>\n<p>The&#8217;sensitive content&#8217; warning on your own tweets is a warning you receive whenever someone shares something you might be sensitive about on Twitter. To turn this warning off, simply go to &#8216;Settings&#8217; on the left-hand side and tap the &#8216;Privacy and Safety&#8217; section. Under Privacy and Safety, click the &#8216;Content you see&#8217; option. By selecting this option, you can customize your Twitter experience according to your hobbies, interests, and subjects. You can also disable the&#8217;sensitive content&#8217; warning by unchecking the&#8217;sensitive content&#8217; checkbox.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hide_sensitive_content_from_searches_on_Twitter\"><\/span>Hide sensitive content from searches on Twitter<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you have kids, you may want to hide sensitive content from your Twitter feed. There are several ways to do this. You can use the privacy setting on the Twitter app or website to hide this type of content. To enable this option, go to the settings page, and look for the sensitive content option. Once you&#8217;ve enabled it, you can choose to disable this feature for the Twitter website or Android app. Alternatively, you can go to the settings page of the Twitter app and uncheck the sensitive content option.<\/p>\n<p>To enable the safe search feature, visit the settings page on the Twitter app. Under the Settings and Privacy tab, choose &#8220;Your Activity&#8221; and then &#8220;Content You See.&#8221; Next to the Privacy section, select &#8220;Your Tweets.&#8221; Once you&#8217;ve checked the box, you can see the sensitive content you&#8217;ve blocked. However, if you&#8217;d like to keep these tweets private, uncheck the &#8220;Mark Tweets as sensitive&#8221; option.<\/p>\n<p>By default, tweets containing sensitive content will be hidden from searches. But there&#8217;s a simple way to change that and keep all your tweets private. Go to your profile page and tap &#8220;Settings&#8221;. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select &#8220;Security and Safety.&#8221; Then, select &#8220;Content You See&#8221; and enable or disable sensitive tweets.
