And we&#8217;ve seen some of their tweets, too.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Elon_Musk\"><\/span>Elon Musk<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>A few days ago, Elon Musk posted a meme on Twitter that asked users which politician they hate more: Trump or Musk. However, the tweet was deleted soon after it was posted. So what happened? Twitter apparently did not want Musk&#8217;s tweet to be spread. It has yet to explain why. Nevertheless, a number of other tweets by Musk are still floating around, but they haven&#8217;t been deleted yet.<\/p>\n<p>The tweets that were deleted were about the way Twitter handles their users. Mr Musk argued that if Twitter were to rely on advertising money, companies would be able to dictate their policy. He also said that Twitter Blue should give people an authentication checkmark. Twitter has yet to explain why Musk deleted his tweets. However, it&#8217;s clear that Twitter is upset that Musk would want to make the service more user-friendly.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Donald_Trump\"><\/span>Donald Trump<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Several of President Donald Trump&#8217;s recent tweets have been deleted by Twitter. Specifically, Twitter has deleted three of his tweets, which were based on election conspiracy theories. After the riots in the Capitol, Twitter has ceased all tweets from the official @POTUS account. The company cited a &#8220;risk of violence&#8221; as the reason for the action. Twitter has also blocked access to the official @POTUS account.<\/p>\n<p>While Twitter has been known to ban controversial tweets, it is difficult to determine whether the president was responsible for the deletion of his posts. During the election, the president tweeted that some of the votes &#8220;had magically disappeared.&#8221; Trump&#8217;s tweets were deleted almost immediately after posting them. On top of that, two Trump loyalists, Sidney Powell and Michael Flynn, were also banned from the platform.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Elon_Musks_tweets\"><\/span>Elon Musk&#8217;s tweets<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Elon Musk is no stranger to controversy, and it is no surprise that he&#8217;s deleted some of his most critical tweets about the social media platform. In late July, Elon Musk settled a legal dispute with federal regulators, but that didn&#8217;t stop him from making off-the-cuff comments and posting odd memes on Twitter. Musk has been criticized for not crediting artists when using their work, and he was forced to delete a series of tweets about Twitter. However, this time, Elon Musk&#8217;s tweets were not about Tesla, but about Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>As Twitter censors Musk&#8217;s tweets, he&#8217;s also threatening to boycott the social media website. The company has not yet responded to Musk&#8217;s request for comment. Twitter, however, declined to comment on Musk&#8217;s latest tweets. It seems that Musk&#8217;s tweets may have been deleted because he realized that they had alienated women and they didn&#8217;t want to lose their support.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Trumps_tweets\"><\/span>Trump&#8217;s tweets<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>After US President Donald Trump&#8217;s inflammatory comments about protesters and the democratic party&#8217;s election, several of his tweets were deleted by Twitter. In one tweet, he criticized Democrats and the election process and told his supporters to &#8220;go home.&#8221; Twitter&#8217;s policy on hate speech and incitement of violence does not apply to all users. But this particular tweet caused a stir after Trump held a rally at the National Mall in protest of the election results. The rally took place before Congress had formally ratified the Biden victory.<\/p>\n<p>Twitter has taken action after President Trump&#8217;s account was suspended and the presidential campaign has been permanently banned. The social media giant also suspended the account of two of Trump&#8217;s loyalists, Michael Flynn, and Sidney Powell, after they posted racist tweets and inflammatory videos. The suspensions are a result of the president&#8217;s repeated violations of Twitter&#8217;s election misinformation rules.
