Fleets allow you to post multiple pages of tweets in a single story. They lack the features of Instagram Stories, including muting, retweeting, embedding, and liking. They’re not yet available for mobile users, but they’re coming soon. Here are some features that you might find useful.

Fleets allow you to post multiple pages of tweets in a single story

Twitter allows you to post Fleets, or multiple pages of tweets in a single article. Fleets are a great way to showcase your fleet in multiple ways. Tweets can be text, photos, videos, GIFs, and even live broadcasting. You can add text or an emoji to the Fleet, or both. Fleets are visible to everyone, and you can choose the color of the background.

If you’re a business or individual, you can use Fleets to share a lot of content without bothering your followers. Fleets disappear within 24 hours, which is a great way to stay at the top of your followers’ feeds without overwhelming your followers. Fleets are great for sneak peeks, upcoming events, opinion polls, behind-the-scenes videos, and more!

They can’t be retweeted, embedded, or liked

In addition to Instagram and Facebook Stories, Twitter is testing Fleets, a new format for sharing ephemeral content. Like Facebook’s “stories,” Fleets won’t be circulated within the Twitter network, but they can be embedded. But unlike Instagram and Facebook, Fleets can’t be retweeted, liked, or embedded. That could change in the future, but for now, you’ll need to enjoy them while they’re fresh in your mind.

Although Twitter isn’t going anywhere, the launch of Fleets is already receiving backlash from Twitter users. The new format, similar to Instagram Stories, allows users to post fleeting thoughts that disappear after 24 hours. Fleets are not retweeted, shared, or liked, and can only be replied to through direct messaging. Twitter conducted a survey of beta testers who reported that they felt more comfortable posting their opinions and personal thoughts on Fleets because they knew they would disappear in 24 hours.

They can’t be mute

If you have a large number of Fleets on Twitter, you may be wondering why you can’t mute them. It is very easy to mute an individual account, but it takes time to do the same for every single Fleet. A solution may be to simply ignore them. But this is time-consuming and doesn’t seem to solve the problem. In addition, muting a Fleet will still keep their notification on top of your timeline.

The good news is that there are two ways to mute a fleet on Twitter. The first way involves visiting each individual account’s Tweets. Next, tap the mute icon next to the fleets. Alternatively, you can also tap the mute button next to the tweet to unmute it. If you have multiple fleets on Twitter, you can use the same method to mute them all.

They lack Instagram Stories features

Twitter recently launched a feature similar to Instagram Stories called Fleets. This feature will let users create, edit, and share fleets of pictures. Like Instagram Stories, Fleets will lack the horizontal swipe that users can do on Instagram. However, the platform is in its early stages and other features may be added soon. Users should note that these new features may be more similar to the feature than they are to Instagram Stories. If this is the case, users will not necessarily be disappointed.

Instagram rolled out Stories a few months ago and Facebook and other social media sites followed suit. Facebook and Instagram also jumped on the trend and created their own versions. In fact, Facebook’s Stories feature surpassed the latter in popularity by the end of 2017. But Instagram has since taken the story format and added its own features. While this feature may seem redundant and unnecessary to users, it has gained a following that’s growing faster than the others.

What Are Fleets on Twitter?
