In addition, you will have access to their direct messages, which you may find helpful in the future. While following someone is easy, it&#8217;s also important to remember that you can&#8217;t follow too many people at once. Overfollowing them will result in getting penalized by Twitter. Instead, follow those who interest you and share their content. While you should follow people who share your interests, it&#8217;s important to keep in mind that over-following can result in being banned.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Retweet\"><\/span>Retweet<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To retweet a tweet, go to the post on Twitter that you want to share. You can then click the retweet button. Once you click this button, you&#8217;ll see a list of options that you can choose from. You can choose to retweet a tweet that is about the same topic as your own or a tweet that is related to the topic you&#8217;re currently reading.<\/p>\n<p>When you retweet a tweet, you can show your followers that you read and appreciated the content they&#8217;ve posted. Retweeting others&#8217; tweets shows that you&#8217;re a reader of their content, and it can help you spread the word about events that you&#8217;re interested in. It&#8217;s a great way to show your support for your fellow bloggers, too.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Direct_Message\"><\/span>Direct Message<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>How do I view my Direct Messages on Twitter? Messages can be viewed by clicking the envelope icon at the top right of your Twitter profile. If you&#8217;ve received an unread message, the orb will be blue. Click it to open it in a new window or to view your entire Twitter profile. This will display the history of all your direct messages. If you&#8217;ve received a reply from another user, a check mark will appear in the other person&#8217;s inbox.<\/p>\n<p>When you receive a DM from someone you follow, you&#8217;ll be able to open it. Any DMs that you received from other Twitter users will appear in a message requests folder. These messages come from users you don&#8217;t follow or private message you. If you&#8217;ve closed your DM, the message request tab won&#8217;t appear in your profile. You&#8217;ll need to click the gear icon to open it.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Photos\"><\/span>Photos<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to share photos on Twitter, you can do it by clicking on the text box and selecting &#8220;Add Photo&#8221; and selecting a photo from your computer. Twitter doesn&#8217;t know what size your photo is, but the longest side should be no more than 1024 pixels, while expanded photos are 463 x 616 pixels to 910 x 556 pixels. Your original photo may be four thousand by three thousand pixels. For optimal display, you should also make the image at least 5MB in size.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to tweet your photos, you can do so using your Twitter account. You should select an image and upload it. You should then edit your tweet so that it uses the space available for the picture and the shortened URL. This will help you to maximize your 140-character limit. When posting photos on Twitter, make sure to use an appropriate image size. If you are unsure, you can always downsize the image in your photo editing software.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"GIFs\"><\/span>GIFs<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to boost your Twitter engagement, use GIFs! Instead of long paragraphs, use a GIF instead to convey a message. GIFs do not count against the character limit and are highly engaging. They can be added to your Twitter account through an app or website. You can use GIFs to represent certain words and phrases, or to convey the overall message of your brand. Once you&#8217;ve added them to your Twitter account, you can use them on your Twitter page.<\/p>\n<p>One of the best ways to use GIFs on Twitter is to upload them directly from your smartphone. GIF images are great for mobile devices because they load faster than video files. If you&#8217;re planning to upload these GIFs to your Twitter account, you need to use an app for Android. Downloading an app for Twitter will allow you to easily transfer GIFs to your Android device. Alternatively, you can use the web app in your mobile device&#8217;s browser to create a GIF.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Schedule\"><\/span>Schedule<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to post multiple Tweets on the same day, you may wonder how to schedule them on Twitter. Fortunately, it is fairly easy. All you have to do is log in to Twitter and choose the settings that apply to your account. Once you&#8217;ve selected the right options, you can simply click the schedule icon on the bottom of the composition box. Once there, you can select the date and time of publishing, as well as emojis and media. Click the &#8220;confirm&#8221; button to schedule your tweet. Once you&#8217;ve selected the date and time, the button will show you a list of your scheduled Tweets.<\/p>\n<p>Before you can schedule your tweets, you need to keep in mind the time zones of your audience. If you are in the United States, you can schedule tweets for your Japanese followers at 10 a.m. EST on the first day of the holiday season. If your followers in Japan are in Japan, you can schedule tweets for 10 a.m. EST to avoid being seen during peak hours.
