To enable this feature, you must first click on the &#8220;Settings and Privacy&#8221; option on your mobile browser. Then, scroll down and uncheck the box that says &#8220;Show sensitive content.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t want your friends and family to see any sensitive content on your phone, you can disable the tweet warnings by marking your account as &#8220;sensitive&#8221;. This setting is available under the Media Settings section on the Twitter website. You can turn sensitive content on or off from your iPhone using the same procedure. To change the sensitive content setting, go to the Settings menu and tap Privacy and Safety. Then, tap on &#8220;Tweets&#8221; and then &#8220;Unmention myself&#8221; to disable the alerts.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"iPhone\"><\/span>iPhone<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;re on the go, you might find yourself needing to change Twitter settings to see sensitive content on your iPhone. Twitter implements tools to block sensitive content, but some users find that these restrictions are overly restrictive. In such cases, you can change the settings on your iPhone so that you can see sensitive content without receiving the annoying &#8220;This Tweet might contain inappropriate content&#8221; message. To do this, log in to your Twitter account and select Settings, Privacy. In the Privacy section, enable the checkbox labeled &#8220;Display media that may contain sensitive content.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve checked the box, go to your Twitter profile and click on the three-dot icon, then select Settings and Privacy. Scroll down to the Sensitive Content section and uncheck the box next to it. You should then be able to view the sensitive content. If you&#8217;re concerned about how sensitive content might be appearing in your feeds, you should choose &#8220;Show sensitive content&#8221; unless you&#8217;re a parent.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Web_version_of_Twitter\"><\/span>Web version of Twitter<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;re looking to read tweets containing content you don&#8217;t want to see on your iPhone, it can be tricky to adjust Twitter&#8217;s default settings. You need to enable the &#8220;Show media that may contain sensitive content&#8221; option and turn off &#8220;Hide sensitive content&#8221; for your search queries. In addition, you can also choose to display all content for sensitive users during searches. To find the option, visit the Twitter settings page.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll need to log in to your Twitter account via the desktop version of the app before you can make any changes to this setting. If you&#8217;re using the iPhone, you should click on the &#8220;settings&#8221; icon in the bottom-right corner of your screen. You&#8217;ll have to scroll down a little bit to find the &#8220;sensitive content&#8221; box. This option is not available on the mobile app, so you&#8217;ll need to navigate to the desktop version.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Turning_onoff_sensitive_content\"><\/span>Turning on\/off sensitive content<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Changing Twitter settings on iPhone will allow you to browse Twitter for sensitive content without a warning. You can also search for such content without getting an alert. To change the settings, go to the profile menu of your Twitter account and select Settings. Click on the Privacy and Safety section and then tap on &#8220;Content You See.&#8221; In the &#8220;Content You See&#8221; section, find the checkbox for &#8220;Hide sensitive content.&#8221; Similarly, you can change the sensitive content setting on Twitter for Android. You can do this by following five steps:<\/p>\n<p>To enable the sensitive content setting, you have to log in to your Twitter account. Go to the settings menu on your Twitter iPhone and choose Privacy and Safety. Select the Privacy and Safety tab, then tap on the slide bar to disable the warnings. Once this is done, you can see all tweets that contain sensitive content. You can also mark media as sensitive, if you want. To enable this setting on iPhone, you need to have a Twitter account.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Changing_setting_on_web_version_of_Twitter\"><\/span>Changing setting on web version of Twitter<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Changing setting on web version of Twitter to view sensitive content on iPhone. Twitter has strict policies about inappropriate content on its website. By default, sensitive content is hidden from search results. Changing this setting allows you to see tweets with sensitive content and to disable the warning. This setting is compatible with desktop browsers and mobile devices. Just follow the directions below and you&#8217;ll be all set.<\/p>\n<p>Open the Twitter Settings page and click on the Privacy and Safety tab. Under the Your Twitter activity section, tap on the Privacy and Safety tab. You&#8217;ll find the Content You See option, where you can choose which content you want to see and which you don&#8217;t. This setting is the same for both iOS and Android. Make sure you have the option turned on before proceeding.
