This is expected to save the company about $3 million. Twitter&#8217;s stock-based compensation for the 12 months ending December 2021 was $630 million, a 33% increase over the year prior. Unlike its peers, such as Facebook and Pinterest, Twitter&#8217;s stock-based compensation is lower than its competitors&#8217;. Nevertheless, sources said that Musk would be willing to make some compromises if that means improving the product.
