First, you must login to your Twitter account. Once you do that, you&#8217;ll be directed to the Home page. From there, click the icon that looks like a profile photo. From there, you can select the Settings and Privacy option. You can also choose whether or not to display media that might contain sensitive information. After doing that, you can change the other settings as well, such as the ability to block certain types of content.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Location_information\"><\/span>Location information<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to keep your Tweets private, you can change location information in Twitter privacy settings. You can also disable the Precise Location option, which will prevent Twitter from using your phone&#8217;s GPS. But be sure to check these options before you turn on location services! There are some risks associated with the information you provide. By default, Twitter does not add location information to your Tweets. If you are worried that it will be misused, you can turn off this option.<\/p>\n<p>The first step is to go to your profile page. Click on the profile icon on the navigation menu. Tap on settings. Select Privacy and Safety. Select precise location under the safety tab. Check the box next to it. If you do not want others to see your location, then go back to the settings page and delete all your location information. This will keep Twitter secure. This is also a good idea if you plan to travel a lot.<\/p>\n<p>While Twitter no longer attaches GPS coordinates to geotagged tweets, developers still have years&#8217; worth of data. This data is likely to be outdated and useful to attackers. Additionally, location data is unlikely to change. Researchers have shown that a machine can infer sensitive information from this data. As such, it&#8217;s a good idea to delete your location data from Twitter and think twice before sharing it in the future.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sensitive_content_warnings\"><\/span>Sensitive content warnings<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you use Twitter, you may have seen the &#8216;this tweet might contain sensitive content&#8217; warning. While this warning will normally be hidden in your feed, you can adjust it to enable or disable it. To disable it, you need to go to your settings and click on &#8216;display media&#8217;. Then, click the &#8216;disable sensitive content warnings&#8217; option. Your tweets will no longer appear in search results.<\/p>\n<p>Twitter filters sensitive content to keep its users safe. Sensitive content includes posts that are illegal, depicting sexual violence or sadism, or excessively gory. It warns users about the potential risk of exposure to underage viewers and asks them to flag the tweets that they find objectionable. If you don&#8217;t want your followers to see these tweets, you can disable the warning on your mobile device. If you don&#8217;t have a Twitter account, you need to sign up for one first, and then you can go to the privacy settings and change the sensitive content warnings.<\/p>\n<p>To disable the sensitive content warnings on Twitter, sign in to the account on your PC or mobile device. Then, go to the &#8216;Settings and privacy&#8217; tab and select the &#8216;display sensitive content&#8217; option. You can also uncheck the&#8217;mark media you post as sensitive&#8217; option if you want your posts to appear in search results. However, make sure to read the privacy settings of your account before disabling the sensitive content warning.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Automatic_content_filtering\"><\/span>Automatic content filtering<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you are concerned about sensitive or adult content on Twitter, you can opt to turn on automatic content filtering in your Twitter privacy settings. This feature will flag any content based on your legal status as an adult. However, it will filter out content you don&#8217;t want to see &#8211; such as images or meme accounts whose tweets were reported. To prevent these issues, make sure to keep the following tips in mind.<\/p>\n<p>To disable the automatic content filtering, open the &#8220;Privacy and Safety&#8221; section of your Twitter privacy settings. Next to the &#8220;Privacy and Safety&#8221; section, click on your profile icon. In the context menu, click &#8220;Settings.&#8221; Scroll down to the Privacy and Safety section, and select the &#8220;Automatically filter sensitive content.&#8221; If you have accidentally disabled the quality filter, Twitter will disable it. You can turn it back on by repeating these steps, but remember to make sure the checkbox is checked before saving your changes.<\/p>\n<p>You can also block specific words and timelines from appearing in your feed. This way, you&#8217;ll never see inappropriate content again. Then you can add words and phrases to your muted list. In addition, you can block individual tweets from appearing in your timeline if you find them offensive or objectionable. By using these tools, Twitter has helped millions of people keep their accounts safe.
