Twitter will warn you when you post content that is considered sensitive by the website. You can turn this off at any time in your privacy settings. Twitter is compatible with mobile devices and desktop browsers. If you disable this setting, you can see sensitive content only if you are logged in as an adult.<\/p>\n<p>To disable the sensitive content warning, go to Twitter&#8217;s privacy settings and click on the &#8220;More&#8221; button. On the resulting page, click on &#8220;Settings &amp; Privacy&#8221; and go to the &#8216;Content you see&#8217; tab. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the &#8220;Hide sensitive content&#8221; checkbox. You can click this link to disable the sensitive content warning on your timeline.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Turn_off_the_Display_media_that_may_contain_sensitive_content_checkbox_in_Twitters_privacy_settings\"><\/span>Turn off the &#8220;Display media that may contain sensitive content&#8221; checkbox in Twitter&#8217;s privacy settings<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>When using Twitter, make sure that you turn off the &#8220;Display media that may contain&#8221; checkbox. This prevents other users from viewing sensitive content. This setting is under the &#8220;tweet and media&#8221; section. Make sure that the first checkbox is selected so that only people you have approved to see your tweets and media are visible. Otherwise, the content will be hidden from other Twitter users&#8217; search results.<\/p>\n<p>The sensitive content warning is triggered when you view media that may contain adult, violent, or hateful content. This setting lets you disable the notification if you want. The service will also let you report content that violates its terms of service or is abusive or illegal. To turn off this feature, go to the settings section of Twitter and turn off the &#8220;Display media that may contain sensitive content&#8221; checkbox.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"View_sensitive_content_on_Twitter\"><\/span>View sensitive content on Twitter<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can opt out of the option to view sensitive content on Twitter. If you&#8217;d like to, open the Twitter app, click on your profile pic, and tap on the settings menu. Then, tap on Privacy and Safety. Scroll down to the section called &#8220;Content You See.&#8221; There you&#8217;ll find an option to disable sensitivity. To do so, simply uncheck the &#8220;Hide sensitive content&#8221; box.<\/p>\n<p>The new feature is a great addition to Twitter, and will be available to all users by 2021. It will prevent you from accidentally viewing sensitive content. The &#8220;This Tweet Might Contain Sensitive Content&#8221; layer is available in the &#8220;Settings&#8221; menu. By enabling this feature, you&#8217;ll be able to view all tweets and media. The feature also allows you to view your own tweets and media.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Report_sensitive_content_on_Twitter\"><\/span>Report sensitive content on Twitter<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Reporting sensitive content on Twitter can help you prevent being suspended from the social networking platform. However, flagging a tweet as sensitive will cause it to receive less exposure and won&#8217;t show up in organic feeds or searches. This is because it contains content that Twitter considers to be sensitive, such as adult, violent, or hateful content. Users who flagged their tweets as sensitive will have to sign in to view them.<\/p>\n<p>One of the ways to report sensitive content on Twitter is to block the account of the person who posted it. Twitter&#8217;s policy says that anyone can report any image or video that contains violent, hateful, or adult content. Twitter moderators will manually scrutinize the content before approving or denying it.
