The good news is that if you choose to turn Location Services off, Facebook will not be able to apply additional details to your Location History.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to providing live location-based information, the Facebook app can track where you are by using your location data to make recommendations. You may have received notifications based on your location, such as restaurants, hotels, and bars. However, you can also turn off Location Services for your Facebook account. You can also choose to disable your data from being used by partner companies or sister products. By doing so, you&#8217;ll be able to prevent specific companies from targeting you on other platforms, such as Spotify and Netflix. Using this tool can help you prevent your Facebook account from being used for advertising purposes by making the data less personalized.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Blocking_people_from_contacting_you_on_Facebook\"><\/span>Blocking people from contacting you on Facebook<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Blocking someone on Facebook is simple. First, you need to log in to your account. Next, click on the three-dot (&#8230;) icon next to their message button. Click the Block option and confirm your action. You can view a list of blocked people by visiting your privacy settings. Click the &#8220;Edit your list&#8221; link at the bottom-left corner. Once there, click on the &#8220;Block Lists&#8221; section to view the list.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve blocked someone on Facebook, you may still want to contact them. The following steps can be taken to remove the block. To unblock a person who has blocked you on Facebook, you can search for their name and other contact information. You can also search for common friends and view their profile pictures. Finally, you can choose to deactivate the person&#8217;s account. After blocking someone, you can send a text message or email to request they unblock you.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Disabling_location_services\"><\/span>Disabling location services<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To prevent Facebook from tracking your location, you should disable the Location Services in your privacy settings. To do this, first navigate to your Android&#8217;s Settings menu and select the Facebook app. Tap on &#8220;Location Services&#8221; and toggle it off. For iPhone users, the same process is similar. Toggle the location off or disable background location.
