You can do this by going to the archive section of your profile. You can find this section on your PC, iPhone, or Android device. Then, click on the Story Archives tab. You&#8217;ll see your old stories arranged chronologically. This feature is useful if you like to read stories that were shared a long time ago. However, if you&#8217;re not fond of revisiting old stories, you can choose to turn off this feature.<\/p>\n<p>To view archived stories on Facebook, you&#8217;ll need to enable the &#8220;Story Archive&#8221; feature. To enable this feature, go to your profile and tap on the three horizontal lines. Next, tap on the &#8220;Story Archive&#8221; switch. If it&#8217;s off, you can turn it on again. Now, you&#8217;ll be able to see archived stories that were created by other Facebook users.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Saving_stories\"><\/span>Saving stories<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Thankfully, there are multiple options for saving stories on Facebook. Previously, stories could only be saved to mobile devices. Now, you can use an app, a Google extension, or a browser extension to download the stories you want. There are also some great free tools out there, such as the Save Story for Facebook Stories app. Below, we&#8217;ll go over the various options for saving stories on Facebook. Let&#8217;s start with the free option.<\/p>\n<p>A browser extension called Friendly can help you save Facebook stories. This extension can be downloaded from Google Play or the Google Web Store. If you&#8217;d like to save Facebook stories without logging in, you can also download the app from the Play Store. Alternatively, a Facebook app called Social Browser can help you save stories on Facebook. Once you&#8217;ve downloaded the app, you can start saving stories on Facebook. You can even save your stories anonymously.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Adding_stories\"><\/span>Adding stories<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Adding stories to the Facebook archive is an excellent way to save the best of your social media content. You can also archive your stories on other sites like Tumblr. But if you don&#8217;t like the idea of archiving your stories, there are options for you to turn this feature off. After 24 hours, your stories will be moved to the archive section. To save the most popular stories, Facebook should give you the option to set a time for your archived stories to be deleted.<\/p>\n<p>Facebook stories expire after 24 hours, but you can keep them for future reference by accessing the archive from your profile page, web browser, or mobile app. You can also change whether Stories are saved to the Facebook archive automatically, or whether you want to manually save them. You can also use various effects on Facebook Stories to make them look even better. Here are some tips on how to use this feature:<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Adding_stories_to_Story_Highlights\"><\/span>Adding stories to Story Highlights<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Adding stories to Story Highlights on Facebook is a great way to keep your favorite posts. Unlike the Featured Feature, which expires after 24 hours, you can add an archived story to your Highlights. Once added, it will remain visible on your profile forever. Highlights are similar to Instagram stories, but they&#8217;ll let you compile your favorite stories in a single list. You can add cover images and titles to your highlights, as well.<\/p>\n<p>You can add a story to multiple highlights at once. To do so, simply tap the + sign on your profile screen. Then, select Story Highlights and tap the Story icon. To remove a story, simply uncheck it. You can also delete multiple highlights at once. Adding stories to Story Highlights on Facebook is easy and convenient! But remember to keep it short. The highlight will be displayed at the top of your profile.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Downloading_stories\"><\/span>Downloading stories<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You might have noticed that many of your stories are automatically archived after 23 hours. You can download these stories from Facebook in a few ways. First, you can go to your profile and click on the three dots. Then, select Story archives. You can also click on Save Photo to download the story. You can also find stories by searching for &#8220;Archived&#8221; under the section of your profile. Once you have downloaded an archived story, you can share it to your friends.<\/p>\n<p>The second way to download archived stories from Facebook is to install a browser extension. You can install Story saver from the Chrome web store. After downloading, you need to login with your Facebook account and click on the yellow download button. You can also save Facebook stories on Instagram and Whatsapp. If you don&#8217;t have Story saver on your Chrome browser, you can get it here.
