As it grew, Zuckerberg attracted assistants to help promote the site and attract new members. Facebook expanded to other Ivy League schools in the Boston area and eventually the world. By the end of December, it had surpassed 1 billion. Today, Facebook has over 350 million registered users and 132 million unique monthly users. It has helped millions of people connect with one another and with other people all over the world. Here are some of the ways Facebook has made life easier and more social for them. As mobile phones became more powerful, Facebook also branched out into news and video sharing.
