A pop-up box will notify you of how many photos and posts you will lose and what the cancellation process will entail. Next, confirm that you want to delete your account and enter your password. After 30 days, you will be able to use your account again, so you should wait for that.<\/p>\n<p>After 30 days, you can request cancellation of the deletion process of your Facebook account. This will delay the deletion process for up to 90 days, after which all your information will be deleted. It might take more than 90 days for the process to complete, but you can still access your account and Messenger during this time. If you decide to delete your Facebook account, it is better to save a copy of your information so you don&#8217;t lose it.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Download_archived_files_before_deactivating_Facebook\"><\/span>Download archived files before deactivating Facebook<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Delete your Facebook account, but don&#8217;t forget to save any archived files before doing so. This will ensure that you don&#8217;t lose any of the photos, videos, or other content. Unless you have saved them to a USB drive, deleting your Facebook account will permanently delete them. Luckily, there are ways to download archived files before deactivating your Facebook account in mobile.<\/p>\n<p>Firstly, login to your Facebook account and open the settings. Once you have done this, request a copy of your stored data. Facebook will then compile it in the format you&#8217;ve requested. This may take some time if your request is large. After the data has been processed, you can view the files on the Available Copies tab or Download Your Information page.
